Good evening everyone!

I just got home from seeing REM in concert. They put on quite a show. Michael Stipe is quite the little fireball. He was running around like a madman all night. He even came onstage wearing a Red Sox jersey at one point.

There were only like 6000 people at the concert. We had second row balcony seats, but they wound up closing off the balcony because it was so empty, so they upgraded our seats to front row loge two sections from the stage. We wound up being about 25 yards from the stage. The seats were pretty good.

Weird thing. I ran into someone who I used to hang out with in New York about six or seven years ago who I hadn't seen since like 1998. It was so bizarre. He said he had just been talking to his friend about me at dinner before the concert. I told him it was fate that we ran into each other as I wasn't sitting where I was originally supposed to.

Pam, I won't be afraid if you have my name. I'll just make sure I make someone sniff the package before I open it in case it is filled with roadkill pie

Sherry, good deal on the jackets I love getting bargains.

Alan, your girls are adorable. I hope your daughter has a wonderful birthday!

JRKaren I love REM! I bet it was great. Some of the best concerts I have been to were the small ones. Many moons ago I saw INXS at the University of Houston in one of the small auditoriums and it was great.
Well did a lot of yaking and not a lot of scrapping tonight. I think I 4 pages done (2 2 page layouts). For some reason I dont like doing 1 page layouts so all of mine are 2.

Morning!

Had a fun night with our friends. Ended up eating at Eatza Pizza after going to Steve & Barry's. Came home and just chatted and then watched White Chicks. Tooooo funny! Went to bed after 2 a.m.

We have a Harvest Party at church this afternoon, then we are going to our friends to hang out until our next party at my BIL's inlaws house. So, we'll be spending the day with our friends again today.

We had the high winds last night....guess it is working its way over
It caused the power to go out for a few minutes. Christin had a hard time keeping her little car on the road.

Laundry, cleaning and packing for me today.

Today is a busy one. I am going to try to pack in a TON of stuff. All work. Already done with taking Mom to doc and then we had mother/daughter breakfast. It is 68º already, but winds starting to pick up and warmth to be swept away. DS2 is on his way to Chicago driving with a friend to see another at DePaul U. Waiting anxiously to hear of his safe arrival.

Off to play with the chores...

Went to the mall... found 2 pairs of jeans on clearance for me... hot as all get out and got annoyed with dress selections and came home. I'll have a few more weeks to try to find something.

LOL, Lily... yeah I can be nice now and then I guess. I suppose with how busy Alan is with the party and all this weekend (he spoke of on the Angel thread) I decided to cut him some slack.
Maybe in a day or so, it will be no holds barred with him and I'll pick on him some more... tell a secret or two about him

Lily, I think just because the weather is so unseasonably warm, that they just didn't have the a/c or something like that on. I swear it was icky feeling there for me after a while.

Glad you are enjoying the beautiful weather... it is warm here, but rather sticky feeling outside and sadly, extremely windy. But the sun was out for a while and I wasn't freezing so I'm happy about that

Hope you enjoyed the rest of the movie Kimmar... never seen that one myself.

Found out today what my salary cut will be... fortunately it will be very minimal and hardly noticable. I know I will definitely give it a little time before I decide exactly what to do.
Very sleepy... trying to make up for some lost sleep and the stupid phone keeps ringing
