Seems so much easier to start without the shell.....right, Pam?

Absolutely, Nancy! Besides - it gives Elaine and Deena such pleasure to get out there in the skinnin' shed....:teeth:

Alan - only seen Armadillos in Texas!

Tara - glad you got those flu shots - there's a real shortage out there. My Mom (who has Lupus) hasn't gotten hers yet.:(

Morning all... called it quits early last night and fell asleep while watching some of the Sox game.

Karen, I hope you have a great time! Just think the weekend is almost here!

Suzanne, that is such a great fundraiser there!!!! Have fun doing it :teeth: I hear you on compromise. In our house it really is more of let Luis do it first (don't want to hurt his ego) and then I'll tidy up whatever after ;) He is more hardware now than he used to be, but for a long time we were on the same level with everything and that made it "interesting"

Tara, glad you found a moment to check in. So glad y'all are getting the flu shots! Good luck with the ohter one. I think I would likely get it, be ready to pay for it, and then fight the insurance for about 8 months ;)

Good luck to your DH with getting the shot as well, Nancy. I really feel for those trying to get them.

Hey now... whatcha implying by that one there Pammynookums?

Duh....

Suzanne - I forgot to say what a cool fundraiser.... I personally would have to do the Small World one - I don't think I could survive multiple runs of Space Mountain!!

Elaine - whay are you always trying to "read" into my posts?? :teeth:

Gee Pam... I don't know why I would do a thing like that ;)

Speaking of IASW... did you know that it is still down for refurbishment? Won't open until spring :( I wonder if they'd let me do TTA, El Rio Del Tiempo... maybe Test Track... I could do that one all day long :teeth:

Good morning.

Hmmm....got a dentist appointment today :(
then going shopping :)
Not much else to say right now I guess.

Have a good day.

Good morning all! Another gloomy, wet day here. Wish I could just curl up under a nice comforter and watch movies or read all day.

I could get into a fundraiser like that, too. I volunteer for Dumbo!! The one for Cassie's preschool just plain stinks!!

Love the "Possum on the Half-Shell"--never seen one outside a zoo, either. They just don't make it this far north.

JRKaren, Dave had that show on when I got home from babysitting at church last night. Just loved seeing that stuff!! I confess, I'm a confirmed musical-oholic. Showboat, State Fair, Brigadoon, Oklahoma, 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, Camelot........I could go on and on.......

Howdy Kimmar!

Nancy, good luck at the dentist
(hate 'em myself)

Bethie, sorry about the gloomy weather... it's been pretty yucky here as well. I would love to curl up in bed with a good book.

Suzanne is it just for rides at MK?? I think I would do HM if they had that one. If its at any park I would do ToT. I love that that ride. I could ride it all day if they would let me :) Well sporting fans its going to be one stressful day. Astros this afternoon then Sox tonight. Thats the match up Im hoping for in the WS.
Nancy good luck for sure at the dentist. I hate going to the dentist.
Oh and my cat is getting a butt kicking today. He barfed on the hood of my suburban last night

Dentist :earseek:

I went at 7AM today. And I found out that I need to have a filling replaced. Ick.

What a way to start the day. :(

Oh yuck, Deena!! I'd be ticked if my kitty did that too!

I feel for you John... I've had to have a filling replaced... I hate them. Actually I need to find a dentist who is willing to skip the white fillings and go with the metal ones... they last so much longer in my mouth. Had two for about 23 years now and the other just about 20... other fillings have only lasted about 10 years. Good luck wiht yours!

I prefer the metal ones too and think my youngest filling is like 25 years old!! Supposedly, the metal ones are what cause the teeth to break after a time. That's usually why the dentists are telling people they need fillings replaced. Still, I would rather wait till the tooth breaks. Last time I let a dentist replace a filling that wasn't giving me any trouble, I ended up with a humongous infection needing a root canal AND a crown!

Deena, just another reason I don't have cats............But I'm really liking what the Sox are doing!! "Bout time somebody other than the Yankees got a chance!!!

Second time I am trying today.
Hi Ya Yas!
:moped:

Don't like the chat about the dentists. Thankyouverymuch.

Deena, sorry about poor kitty being sick. Give her a hug for me. Not a squeeze the livin' life outta her cuz she barfed on your car, but a gentle feelbetter hug.

later...

I'm making beef stew. Anyone want to come over for dinner?

JellyrollsKaren

Karen,
Thanks for the invite - but I have spareribs in the oven.:D And thanks to Sherry's tag - I got the urge to put nachos and cheese - yummy!!!!

:wave2:

Not so very good start to the day.....but it improved.

Woke up early to a terrible smell  Scared the poopy out of me. We couldn't track it down. Dave thinks something got into the heating thingee and got zapped by the static whatever ;) I just know it smelled BAD!! He reset the furnace and it smelled some, but got better.
Guess I know I can wake up if it smells of smoke of something

then go to the doctor's office to get a shot and wait and wait and don't get called, so I had to leave to make it to the dentist on time. Need to go back for the shot sometime

So....I went to Costco and spent $$$$$ to ease my frustration! :teeth:

Lasagna here for dinner (for one)....thanks to Sherry for that too :) I'm finally getting to it.

Well Im having fingernails for dinner watching this Astros game. We are down by 1 run top bottom of the 8th so it looks like theres gonna be a game 7.......To much stress :crazy2:

Hey all!

Been feeling icky and blue all day today. :( My hormones are all outta whack and I have a fever and a tummy ache. Blech!

Glad to see I inspired some dinner ideas. :teeth:

Kitty barf......ick! I'd be mad, too. Good luck to your Astros, Deena.

JRKaren, save me some of that beef stew. :teeth:

OK, gonna go back to laying on the couch.
