Nancy, I am pretty sure you are right about the liquids lost... that's why I am happy to get that weight back on. I'm feeling much better as the day goes on and I drink more. Just had my all time favorite dinner of egg drop soup and rice... total comfort food for me So now I just have some laundry to finish up with and some little things like that. I think I'll save the ironing for later though.

Oh and thanks for the PM!! Can't wait to go shopping (hopefully this weekend). I have LOTs of good ideas for this one

Evening all...feeling better, just hope it stays that way. Seems with sinus issue I feel good for a bit, then bad. Getting an extra 3.5hrs of sleep today helped. I plan on going to bed on time, if not early tonight.

Wonderful news!!! Our school superintendent is finally retiring We have tried to chase him out for a number of years to no avail...but he has finally decided that he has tortured us enough!!!

Okay, I can't ketchup up n the last 2 or 3 pages b/c they won't load so I'm not really going to catch up at all!! hehehe

Christin had orientation. She has training all next week M-F from 8-2, then she will find out her "real" schedule.
She also found out she gets 25% off food....for anyone she brings in to both OG and Red Lobster :teeeth:...and a couple others that are East Coast. I think that soup, salad and breadsticks will be calling my name often
Also.....2 people were hired for the kitchen and 80 applications were turned in
She got an outstanding recommendation from the owner of the restaurant that she used to work at
Now, I wish it would go that well for a "real" job

Cookies are done. Shopping with Christin all day tomorrow. She needs more clothes too. Everywhere she works wants something different

Well, Prince Charming has done it again.....he had the day off today and you'll never guess where he went Yep!! He went to BaB!! I came home from work to find a new cub condo on the table containing little miss Wascawwy Wabbit (think Elmer Fudd/Buggs Bunny) in her Easter finery--right down to the pink undies and white Mary Janes with butterflies! We had to wait for Buzzy to get home from baseball practice so we could take a new family portrait......

I hope they find someone to run our district that has some understanding of teaching and what it entails...this guy was strictly a money manager!!
And no I haven't gotten her into any more trouble as long as I keep giving her grief (that she thinks is in jest!! hehehe) then we get along just fine. I am one of the few people that she does get along with..l don't care for her but she is beginning to grow on me like a fungus!!!

I was just checking that thread on taking kids to WDW ....now I know how jar got his ADHD...I went to WDW while I was preggers!! He was actually affected by it in utero!! bwaaa!!! That guy has serious issues!!

Got my name...must go shopping! Oooohboy. I spent the evening tearing the computer stuff apart at my desk here. Ted came home and took pity on me and helped me put the new printer in. I had everything all tangled up as my speakers broke here too and I was trying to find the crummy plain ones to install until I can get something better. Probably never. Whew! I am going to relax for a few minutes before bed.

I swear, they MADE me. DS#2 came home with peanut butter parfaits and I was FORCED to eat one all up! May have to put my shopping for new clothes on hold. I just jump started the summer. It was snowing here today and I just could not walk past that ice cream. I am weak. Oh well.

On the suggestion of a couple of yayas, I've taken a benedryl. Got hives all over, don't know what caused them. I haven't changed detergents or soaps (the usual suspects). Haven't eaten anything new, and it's too long after having that lobster fondue for it to be causing this (shellfish consumption is closely monitored here). I'm usually pretty itchy, but the hives on top make me wanna scream!

Beth, that family of BaB's is gonna need their own apartment soon!

Amanda and Elaine, glad things are getting somewhat better on the health front.

Pam, you EAT those things? Ewww. I stick to pancakes here (pecan ones this am)

More yayas coming to florida makes me happy!

Sorry to hear that the DIS was not cooperating tonight. Not much going on here.....had to lend Greg my car today...his was in the shop. Then when he got home had a yummy dinner then had to go and pick up his car..... and then went to pick a few things up for the exchange!!! I just love exchange shopping!! And Bethie....that bunny is just too cute and your hubby is the bestest!!! I WANT that stinkin bunny now!!! It is not like I went to BaB to get a few exchange things...Ya know...some yaya's have it all.....makes it VERY hard to shop for them

Nancy, with the stomachs recovering, I figured a mild soup was much wiser to have than the hot & sour Luis hadn't really tried to eat anythign good for him and he was shocked to discover that after the dinner I got for him, that his stomach did feel 100% better

Suzanne I once had hives for days after the Victorias secret lady got me with some lotion they had. It was awful, I was taking Benadryl every 4 hours to keep them at bay, Hope yours passes soon!
