Well, I can drive over and meet ya! Let me know your dates. Headed over in a few hours to pick up some friends from the airport, crash in their room overnight, then meet some yayas for lunch!!! Woohoo!

Suzanne

...my one girlfriend is getting prices for us, but I'd like to go Memorial Day weekend.....will let ya know when we get more info!

G'morning Yo-Yo's!!

Good morning.......got locked out last night :(

Yay for Kristy being done. M'Cori is ready for hers to be over. I think she has 2 more finals....ends on Tuesday. They come here on the 22nd :bounce: Can't wait to see my #1 baby!!

Thanks for the hugs......Dave called again last night. The guy traveling with him is Gavin's best friend, so left the trip early....leaving Dave with no transportation from the airport tonight  I may have to do a run.....but he is thinking of hiring a car on the company's $$.

No Clay here.....Lost had priority.

Glad that Mandy did better at Scouts. It will keep getting better and better.

Working on the holiday menu today....and the cookie list :)

Have a good one everybody.

500 stuffed animals Nancy?
Locked out last night?..sorry to hear.. :guilty:
We have about 10 stuffed animals in our bedroom alone.. :rolleyes1
There's Frankie, one my mom was gonna pitch that I've had forever and several that the kids were done with that I couldn't part with... :wizard:

you are not kidding, suzanne! you seem like a very nice, tight knit group!

Psssttt..... you forgot "bizarre"..... ;)

Nancy - I hope your DH gets to rent the car so you don't have to go to the airport.

Shep - DS still has a bunch of stuffed animals in his room - although his dog keeps sneaking in to steal them...

Hi YaYas!

Hello and welcome to the Dis, Mr. Incredible! Loved your movie... you really are rather.... well... incredible!

Clay! I meant to watch Clay last night! Darn it! I got sidetracked watching Third Day on 60 Minutes. When that was over, I stumbled off totally forgetting about Clay. Who has his Christmas CD? Elaine? Do I see you raising your hand?

How was the second go around of On the Record, Liz? Still just as good?

Todd, thanks for the description of AR6. It sounds interesting. Kind've wish I'd gotten in on it at the start of the season, now.

Distracted by Speedskaters?? Yeah... coughPamcough. Pammy looks at nakey speedskaters!!

Boooooo!!! Nooooo! Don't YAGE... we love you and your little nose! YaYa world isn't the same without our Boo! You rock the Yaya world woman!! ::yes::

Sherry, glad to hear the boys are perking up. Now what about you?

Nancy is FINISHED wrapping?!?! I just started. How embarrassing.

RoseMary! Welcome home!! I'm glad to hear you had a good time!

Yikes... long days for Suzanne. 'Tis the season I guess, huh?

Nancy, I'm so so sorry to hear about Dave's coworker's wife!! That just breaks my heart! :( He will be in my prayers.

Amanda, wow... it sounds as though work holdiay festivities are keeping you very busy!! That's a lot to juggle. I'll be thinking of you tonight as you attend your mom's memorial service.

Hi Kristy! End of semester wahoos!!! Enjoy the time off with that hubby and sweet niece of yours. By the way, I love your sig pic!! She's such a cutie!

Well... off to clean and decorate some more. I did a stupid thing last night. You know how the walls, etc next to the stove can get a little dirtier than the rest of the kitchen? Well, the wall next to the stove was looking rather dingy. No problem. I'll clean it. Then suddenly, the moulding at the top looked dirtier than before. Okay, I'll wipe that down. I climb onto the counter and wipe that. The rag I was using brushed the ceiling. Uh oh. That's dirty too. I started wiping the ceiling down. Big mistake. I wiped as far as I could reach while standing on the stove. Ummm... now what? Tooooooom?!?!? He's going to lock me up and throw away the key when he gets home. :rolleyes1

Distracted by Speedskaters?? Yeah... coughPamcough. Pammy looks at nakey speedskaters!!

What can I say - me loves me Kippy!!

Amanda - glad you had a good Brownie meeting! :)

....my countdown thingie! :flower:

Oh, and pammie, need any dinner ideas???

roadkill.jpg

Road kill rap
What's that !?
Bat, rat,
fat cat ?

Mouse,?
grouse ?
duck, 'chuck ?

road toad, what a load !
so dozed, there it goes

big splat...
it's flat!
Well well, what do you know
Would you look at that?

500 was a conservative estimate, Todd :teeth:
I have over 300 Disney beanies.....plus about 10 on our bed.
Christin actually probably has about 300 or so.....a big celdar chest full and lots boxed away that she can't part with.

LOL...Kimmie....don't ya just hate when you mean to clean just a little and then it snowballs ;)

Pam, I hope Dave gets a car, bus, taxi, shuttle .....anything. I don't wanna go :( He is due in right at the highest commute time....and his truck is at work which is between here and the airport, so much easier if he finds something.

Need to search cookie recipes. What are your favorites? I need about 6 new ones to try this year....along with the 6 old ones

Amanda glad to here Mandy was better at brownies. I agree 60.00 is too much for work exchanges. I haven't watched the Clay show yet, but have it on tape if you want to borrow it :)

Nancy I'll send M'Cori some :wizard: for her finals. I would love school if it weren't for the stinking tests. I was happy to see that you posted on the stuffed animals thread. I imagine we'll have 500 in a couple of years, especially with all our build-a-bears. Have you seen the new Sassy Kitty? She's adorable! Hmm...have you tried the peanut butter with hershey kisses cookies? What about the no bake chocolate oatmeal peanut butter ones?

hehe Kimmie, I have the Clay Christmas cd :smooth:

LOL Todd. There are several "kids" in our house that Derek just can't part with either. We have about 10 or 11 sitting on our headboard so every night we look up to feet dangling above us. :earboy2:

Now Pam...Santa checking his list...you better be nice ;)

Mr. Incredible welcome! I loved your movie but didn't like the spinning flying things.

Hiya Kimmar!! How's the Wilderness Lodge Home?

Back to work now....

First time I've popped in all day. Junior got up this morning and told me to go back to bed. Who am I to argue? Slept until 11:30. I think it helped alot. I have a headache now, though. And still have this stupid cough. Other than that, I'm feeling better.

Junior is at the hospital right now having his MRI done.

Kristy, glad to hear your done with your semester! :bounce: Love the new sig pic of Dakota. :)

Nancy, so sad about DH's coworkers wife.

Pam, sorry to hear you may be catching something. :( Hope you feel better.

Amanda, I have Clay's show recorded. Its on DVR, though, so no tape, or I'd send it to you. Wanna come over and watch it with me? :teeth: Will be thinking of you tonight.

Kimmy, had to LOL at your cleaning story. Been there, done that! I have Clay's Christmas CD, too. :teeth: I didn't know Third Day was on 60 minutes. :(

Rose Mary, welcome home! :)

Just a quick-y..hey Yoyos--I missed the Clay thing too.

Kristy - DD and I saw the new BAB Kitty last week - she is soooo cute!!

Thanks Sherry. I love the picture of her in the stocking so I had to share it with all of you :)

So Pam...who's getting Sassy for Christmas, you or your dd? :flower:

Hiya Boo!!!!!

Kimmar....NO don't give her the roadkill, she'll make us eat it :scared1:

Hola, yayas and bothers (Mr Incredible, that's what we call the menfolk!)

I had a fabu time at lunch. Auntie Claire gave me grief for showing up late, but I got to hang with 21 other DIS friend and their familys. PKRoch brought Mom and Dad to pay for it all. Hmm, that sounds like a good deal!

JR Karen knew who I was right away--uh oh! I of course was able to figure out who she was-vivacious lady that she is. Dave, Beth, Lainey, Luis, Lily, Ted, Deena and her 50 boys, Dan Murphy, John (Towncrier), KristaTX and KimTX were also there.

Auntie Claire put a bib on Frank, PK's dad and channeled Ethel Merman to acompany the Ariel on Frank's bib. Lainey got bagged for not finishing all her food (Luis was holding it under the table!), Dan got airplaned with what appeared to be sweet potato, I got whirled peas that were a hidden mickey and was told to give peas a chance. Liz was there as the xrated mickey jingle bells beanie (he wants you to press a most inappropriate place to begin his song). She got to enjoy some of Dave's shake, S'mores, Dad's HUGE sundae and Bethie's blue lemonade. Of course, among all this, we were taking pictures of each other taking pictures. Another table in the room was seated while we were there-and promptly worried when 22 people all said Hi!

It was lots of fun!! Alas, I had to run home to get the boys from the school bus-because Ed had an interview!!!! Cross your fingers, because it went very well. He'll hear back tomorrow. Oh, from the parking lot at MGM to my front door=45 minutes when you're worried that you'll be late! It really should take 55. :earseek:

Oh, and the late night was because the big bosses were coming to visit...I got a good solid night's sleep last night (thanks to the comfy bed at Pop) and plan on going to bed early tonight, too. My store looked beautiful.

Off to Imagestation to try and upload these pictures and give you a glimpse into the craziness that happens when you're at the Prime Time with a bunch of your yaya sisters!

Suzanne

I haven't seen the new BaB kitty  I don't need anymore. I said one BaB would be enough....she will just get lots of clothes :teeth:
I dressed and wrapped Dave's yesterday though....too cure. I should have taken a picture  Now you have to wait until after Christmas.
He is named Nicholas and is the polar bear....dressed in Santa suit compete with boots, beard and glasses.

Cookies have been decided, as well as other goodies. I'm trying to keep it down this year.
So.....Christin's picks are Butter Cinnamon and lemon cut-outs.
Geoff's pick are Chocolate Covered Cherry and Sugar.
M'Cori wanted an oatmeal, so I decided on Disneyland's Oatmeal Raisin
Dave wants the Peanut Butter Blossoms (that's the peanut butter with kisses, Kristy)
I want Ghirardelli Brownies (might have to throw in Pecan Sandies too)
New ones: Gingerbread Cookies with Chocolate
Pepperkaker
Soft Christmas (looks like a sugar, but it is for Dave's work anyway ;) )
Eggnog Thumbprints
Honey-Nut Christmas
Minted Snowballs
And then the Fantasy Fudge
Berry Cobbler and No-Bake Chocolate Truffle Pie for Christmas dessert
How's that sound??

Sherry, glad you got to sleep in but sorry you have a headache.
Best wishes for Junior on that MRI

Suzanne.....sounds like a good time. I hope "I" was there too....or did Elaine forget me again? ;)

We have the Clay CD too ;)
