Kristy--so sorry to hear about your grandpa and dh dad. Will keep them in my prayers.
SSShhh Tony dont mention the "other board" the last thread I saw that mentioned it disappeared--with me in it! I was lucky to get out.
Tony--I dont think you are a butt hole but thanks for good news that you do have one. That would be one mess of medical troubles if you didnt :p
We were out looking today for a toy gun for Evan. No one carries them anymore. I had no idea. You can find a watergun or nerf gun but not the cowboy/indian type guns. I think these people are a bit extreme. We played with them as kids and I have never had the urge to shoot anyone. :(
Im still sick but alteast dh has been home to take care of the kids. Hopefully it will start to go away.
Im off to bed. See you guys tomorrow.

Good to see some fellow ya yas...:)
How was your guys 4th??:)

I enjoyed the tradition of the 4th. I ate and watched fire works. Took my son to Busch Gardens and did lots of walking and eating!! BG had an awesome fireworks show with music that included Neil Diamond's "Coming to America" and Lee Greenwood's "Proud to be an American" It was really neat.

Hotter than hades and not a bit of a breeze :( . But we survived!

Ok, I'm really going to bed now.

Shep and Deena, don't stay up too late. You don't want to be too tired tomorrow morning! hehehe

tara--I need to get back on schedule...I'm used to going to bed at 2..and getting up at 9..:o
Still have yet to see some real fireworks though since we went camping last night and seems like a lot of the show got rained out...Maybe we'll see some sunday night..my girls like fireworks..:)

Hi all... I don't have time for a ketchup but I just wanted to say hi to you all.

Kristy, I am so sorry to hear about your grandfather and FIL. My prayers are with them both.

Good Morning everyone,

Shep-I used to be able to go to bed like that but then my 3 year old discovered he could get out of bed as soon as his eyes opened and get in my bed. So now I'm lucky to get past 630. But i dream about those days! hehehe

Okay, kid question...How many of you have kids that will suddenly run a fever and you can find absolutely no reason for it? Last night Jarrod started running a fever of 102. No cold, no spots, no visible reason. He had tubes put in and adenoids out 2 weeks ago and was on an antibiotic for his adneoids but other wise he has been healthy. Its only around 100 today and he acts like he feels okay, not great but not bad. I asked him if anything hurt and he says no. Arggh! Now I just have to wait and see what he does or if anything else pops up and if he has the fever in the morning I can't take him to school, which also means I can't go to my grad school practicum (only 8 sessions left). Not a vent just a sigh, mommyhood can be challenging sometimes.

Okay, back to the real world. I'll ketchup more later. Everybody needs to talk more so I live vicariously through your fun!! heheeh

Hi Elaine, Hi Tara
I probably wont be on much today either. I cant believe I'm still sick. I better be better by tomorrow. DH goes backto work in the am so I get to chase Evan and Connor around all by myself, not fun when you just feel crappy.
My 2 oldest are at their dad's this month so they are not here to help out :(
Tara--sometimes the kids start getting sick and dont really show any symptoms til you see the fever. Maybe its just a little cold or something that will pass quickly. :D I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Thanks gusy for telling me I'm not a butt hole. I mean I know the potential is there. Just got finished listing some items on ebay. I'm also starting to research a Disney Cruise. Maybe over Christmas break so we don't have to take Seth out of school. I don't want to do all those dress up dinners. Might look into the land/sea package. Heck who knows. Guess since my brother is leaving for WDW this Thursday I am in a planning mood.

Ok which one of you sickies have been sipping my Iced Coffees...my throat is just scratchy and itchy...ugh...hiding out with the airconditioning for now...:smooth:

Oh sorry about your sick little one Tara.:( Oh and SHeppa...sorry about lil Mandy's cut!

Seth...you're not a butt hole.:)

OK ...well good afternoon all!

Oh I'm sorry!:o:o I always get a little confuused whenever I read your tag...I'm a loser!!!:o:o:o

Boo! Are you confused - again??!!

Tony - I can be a butt hole at times - and I don't give a rat's patootey who knows it!:teeth:

We did the Disney Cruise land/sea thing 3 years ago - absolutely loved it ! (Loved the cruise - the parks was a bust because of the storms that shut down the rides at every park, every day!!)

It's raining here AGAIN - folks!! At least it's knocking the humidity down.

I have tons of copy to typeset - but I'm too lazy to do it - ditto for the dishes and laundry.......

Jeannie, I feel your pain--literally!! I have the itchy, scratchy throat and the clogged head to go with it, but I've been making my own Iced Latte, thank you. Today is day 3--every day is a little different. Today I can breathe, but not hear! And the coughing is aggravating the asthma, so I'm more of a mess than usual:( :( DH just went to Costco to get us some Chicken Caesar salads for our dinner. LOVE a man who can cook like that!!!

Tony, I haven't had a chance to observe you much, but from what I've seen here, you are no more of a butt hole than any of us.

Tara, my daughter used to get what we called Mystery Fever all the time. She would just suddenly develop a fever and after a day or two, it would be gone. Found out after several years that it might have been caused by the urinary tract infections she was very prone to.

Poor Mandy, hope her finger is feeling better. Don't understand the lastest craze of building pools with metal walls and a concrete bottom. What is wrong with the whole thing being concrete? Seems safer, to me.

The local fireworks went off last night just fine. We had the 2nd best seats in the house--the parking lot of our apt. complex!! Perfect view, but couldn't feel the percussion. Really fun hearing the booms echoing off the buildings around us!!! And we had no problem getting home, either!!

Sorry to hear about the rains in Ky, Ohio and Pa. :( Please don't send it back here, we're still trying to dry out from May and June's deluges!!

DBF and I were in a parking lot to watch the local fireworks

I stopped by to say hi and had to go to page 2 of the cb. Wow, everybody must be doing something fun today.

will check back in later.
tara

Yep, looks like all the Ya Yas are busy with RL.........

Well, I was reading my lastest Lord of the Rings magazine and there was an interview with pictures of Craig Parker, the New Zealander who played Haldir, the elf. OMG!!!! Time for a change in cabana boys........Gonna hafto get rid of the old guy, Patrick Stewart in favor of this gorgeous, virile, young blood!! The question, ladies, is which picture??? Do I want him RL or as the elf with the gorgeous blonde hair??? Vote, please!!!!
