I didnt and still dont feel very good so we stayed home most of day yesterday. We did go to my best friends moms house out on the lake to watch fireworks but we didnt stay long. Still feel yucky today so I will probably hang out on the couch
We had rain here yesterday during the day but none last night for the fireworks. But rain is back bright and early this am.

Not staying long. Luckily y'all weren't mothy yesterday so the ketchup was easy. Elaine and Deena, I hope you get to feeling better. Lane sorry you didn't get to see any fireworks.

We were working in the house yesterday so no fireworks for us. Going back today to finish lining the kitchen cabinets. He mowed the grass and had to stop about every 15 minutes because it's so HOT and Humid here. ICK.

Okay....question for the sista's...
Can I see a show of hands on how many of you lined your bathroom drawers??? I'm debating on whether not I need to do this.

Also....If you have wooden shelves in your closets...did you line those??

Hey ya'll! How's everybody doing? Lazy old YaYa checking in.... would've done it sooner, but I lead an incredibly dull life and had nothing to write about. Not that I have anything to write about now, but... well... you know.

I see ketchup has been addded to the YaYa arsenal!! Well, now... of course KETCHUP should be part of our weapons stash!!!! Sheesh!! Why didn't we think of that sooner!?! I'm thinking the red AND the green would work nicely together. ....and Tara is on the lookout for new and unusual dangerous foods to add to the list... gotta love it!!!

Deena feels yicky? Bleh. Feel better soon Deena!

Hubby remember the cable yet, Sherry? Uh oh... he's not still checking in on the YaYas once in awhile is he??

Cracker Barrel! I had my one and only Cracker Barrel experience when we were in SLC last Feb. Good food!

Well, off to my bike, then on to some serious shopping. I had a dream last night... in the dream, the manager of Macys was so distraught, the poor dear.... he couldn't figure out why I hadn't come to visit him. I told him, I had bills to pay, I couldn't spend it ALL in his store. He didn't understand at all. Sigh. I suppppose I really should go to Macys. You know.... do my part in keeping America's economy moving, yada yada yada.... it's SUCH a burden! Buuuut.....I'm willing to do my part, even if it does mean I have to sacrifice a day of housework in order to make it happen.

Hi all!!! did some KETCHUP!!!!!!!! Went to RED, WHITE, and BOOM in Columbus on July 3rd. GREAT TIME! Went to Montana Ted's. My brother tried to get me to eat Bison (buffalo) I tasted it, wasn't to bad. Watched the fireworks after it was over it took us 2 hours to get out of the parking lot.

Had our 4th of July party at our house yesterday. NEVER AGAIN!!!! DW worked like a dog, then no one would help clean up. Got into a water fight with my sister. She is 55. I let her have it with a water soaker. Then she smeared chip dip in my hair, and poured a can of pepsi over me. I tried to use the handicap excape , but it didn't work. I am abused I tell ya!

Sorry to hear folks are feeling yucky!! not good on a 3 day weekend .

Sorry to hear too that it rained in Ohio!! (can you tell I was babtized catholic?)

Our 4th was great, we went to Busch Gardens and had a great time. It was sooooo hot that we pretty much ate our way through the park. Trip report: Arrived when directly to diet pepsi and popcorn, rode a couple kids rides, went to the New Trapper Smokehouse (delic) at lunch, rode a couple more kiddie rides, get candy and fudge, ride big bad wolf and kiddie bumper cars, go get dinner at Das Festhaus. Watched fireworks and then took 2 hours to meander up to the front of the park to get to the car and then the trip home. Stopped for about 7 99cent soda refills (all diet of course-yuck).

The fireworks were fantastic, my son sat with hands over his hears to cover the sound and then decided he didn't like looking at them after a while. He concerns me with his sensitivity to light and sound, but that's another story. It is Operation Salute the Military so there were a ton of military folks and their families so I was a neat place to be during the fireworks.

Today, I tried to exchange my monitor I just bought a few weeks ago because every once in a while it will start acting like it needs its tracking adjusted but their is nothing to fix, compu usa doesn't have one in stock in norfolk, so i have to drive to Newport News tomorrow to get it fixed. Until then I can type until the screen starts acting up again. THEN, I was fixing the computer table (why not since the moniotr was moved) and when I tried to move the shelf I pinched my middle finger between the rail and the shelf. More expleicatives than Eddie Murphy could come up with flew from my sweet mouth! Now I have this giant purple and red welt raised up on my middle finger. So i have to be sure to show it to lots of people, especially when I'm driving. Not to mention it hurts like crap to type.

Anyway, glad everyone seemed to have a nice 4th. Tony, next time you need to get at anyone quietly slip a pack of ketchup under the wheel of your scooter and then accidently run over it. I bet you could win that one better than the dip in the hair!!! (oops, sorry evil twin just over took me. I have wrestled control from her!! whew! that was close!)

Must run and pretend to work for a few. I'll ketchup later.

Oh man, went to that "other board" people are talking about. I read something about me. I guess some people think I'm a butt hole. . I'm really not I mean I have one and everything, but that doesn't make me one.

Okay yaya's.....I haven't done any ketchup....came to ask for many many many many prayers and pixie dust.
We got some bleak news today.... my grandfather is elderly(70+) and has not been doing well at all. Well, he was rushed to the hospital yesterday and is in intensive care. The doctors said that he has some serious lung and kidney infections....and prognosous according to my dad....is not good at all. Let's put it this way.....since I found out this morning...I haven't been holding up well. I don't think he'll be returning home

The other news. Derek's dad is 60 and he's had several heart attacks in the past. Doctor's have said no more surgery...it's too risky. So....he had another one on Wednesday. We just found out a few minutes ago. There's damage to the lower part of the heart and no prognosous that I know of yet. More tests will be run on Monday.

So the Kucel household really needs your prayers right now.

We are suppose to have more bad storms rolling in again. All fireworks were cancelled hours ago. Guess the Queen City will not have any 4th of July celebrations.

Kristy, I'm so sorry for your grandfather. Mine died 3 years ago and I feel your pain. I'll keep you all in my thoughts. Good luck to Derek's dad (your father in law?) I hope he gets better too! And I don't line anything. I figure after a while the dust and dirt will cover it and I won't neeed to do it!

Hope everyone who is sick is feeling better, and those that are getting the bad weather will see sunshine!

Good to be back!
Went camping last night in Falmouth KY at Kincaid Lake..I'm sure sketti knows where I'm talking about...
Storms blew threw and we ended up taking our tents down and sleeping in the vans....
Mandy cut her finger in the pool(they have some type of metal crap around the inner part of it that it is possible to cut yourself) and her finger was bleeding pretty bad--a bandaid helped but she messed with it and got it bleeding again..and needless to say we didn't swim anymore last night..but went a lot today and had Amanda's family reunion there...Me and her brothers and nephews drove everyone crazy with our shrek talking and quoting...lol.. ..
Darn rain...was wanting to walk cassie through the neighborhood and watch the fireworks but the rain cancelled that..Well actually just got home 20 minutes ago...and it had to start raining now.. ..Went to the Reds game tonight to get the commemmoritve(sp?) stadium replica...very nice..
