Just checking in here....been on the couch all day yesterday and today. Pain kicked in after the bandage came off. YUCK o rama....it's so ugly now I'll be glad then the stitches work their way out.


Glad to see that everyone returned home safe and sound from Riddle Con.
Hope Nancy and Rose Mary have safe trips.

Kimmar.....that's a huge laugh if he fixes the chicken/cheese thing. He's not the cook of the house....that's for sure

DH took a personal today, so we were gone all day.

Kim, CP has the BEST coasters in the world! Not sure about the crowds on Friday's, but Saturday's can get a bit crowded. Not too bad, though.
Not sure about Six Flags. Haven't been there in a couple years...don't care much for the park.

evening all!!

Once again i am reminded of why I am not a stay at home mom AND why I prefer to spend money on someone else cooking and cleaning!

OMG...I got a misplaced wild hair and decided to fix lasagna. Instead of being smart and buying a stoffers I decided to make it from scratch. I feell like all I've done since 330 this afternoon is either cook or clean. It was worth it. My db and dsil came over for dinner. it's funny b/c dsil called to see if I wanted to get together b/c db was going to play poker. I told her she could come for dinner. I was broke from going to BJ's Wholesale Club and Food Lion. Then I talked to db and he said that if he could get his game pushed back a bit, could he come to dinner too. I was not going to turn down another diner!! So it was a nice family dinner. Now I'm too tired to dis! This domestic crap is for the birds. I need to make sure my pizza hut number is updated for the rest of the week!! And to those of you who do this on a regular basis. I tip my hat to you and salute you!!!

Morning everyone - Another muggy day. Oh I yearn for the day I can blow my hair out again. Thank goodness it's naturally curly.

Well today I make my target run for last minute things for our trip.

Tomorrow the rest of my fence is delivered. Zachary starts swim class. Yeah. His brother Dylan has been doing these classes for 12 weeks and now dives off a diving board. He's a little fish. Hope Zack takes to it as much.

Morning, everyone!! Sorry I've been MIA for a bit. Had to work Saturday even though DH was off--bummer. But it gave me an extra day for our WDW trip next month! Then Sunday was a greeting card making party. Worked myself into a real downer being so close to where my DD and DS live--I miss them soooooo much sometimes. You folks who can't wait till your kids finally move out.......it's not always the glorious relief you expect.

Kristy, hope you heal quickly and are soon back with us 100%!! Any word from the pathologist yet?

Liz, be sure and wave to me as you pass thru northern VA!! Never been to Myrtle Beach--hope ya'll have a wonderful time!

Tara, you WOULD choose one of the most complicated, messiest, takes the longest to prepare meals for your domestic spurt! I prefer the "put it on and forget it for 40 minute" meals! Much easier!! But, just GOTTA have lasagna every once in awhile---YUM!!!

Sherry, Laine & Marla!! Glad to hear Riddle Con was good! Come to think of it, how could it be otherwise considering the people involved and the location!! Gawd, I LOVE Cedar Point!

So, who all is planning to be in WDW in December? We are starting to think about which nights to do MVMCP and Candlelight Processional. I think I heard something about Dec. 4th for MVMCP, am I right? Just wondering who all we might run into/meet up with and all. We'll be there Dec. 3-8.

I sure will. DH and I always curse our way through Virginia. We always hit unbearable traffic. Hopefully this year we're timing it so we will miss any kind of rush hour.

We are leaving Jersey at about 10 am, hopefully.

Hi Liz! We just have rain here today. I can relate to the hair thing! I am glad mine has natural wave/curl because otherwise I'd hate it! I don't think I've bothered with trying to style my hair in a long time! It's just easier than fighting the humidity and all that.

Beth, so good to see you here We miss you when you aren't around. {{HUGS}} to you... I can't even begin to imagine how hard that must be with your kids. As for WDW in Dec... well you know I'll be there. I have my dates (1-8) and hotel. I also am doing MVMCP on the 4th and I can tell you a bunch of DISers are doing it that night as well. Other than that I really don't have much planned. I'm sure we'll meet up somewhere along the way though

HEHEHE!! Yeah I had to pick the worst thing in the world to make, but it really is all my mother's fault (see I'm 32 and still blame mom) She mentioned lasagna the other day and I've been craving it since then. I suppose Olive Garden would have been a better choice, but hey it was an adventure!!

Tonights big meal........................left overs!!! No mess, no fuss!

Well, I'm off to take ds to swim with the sharks...uh I mean to see the sharks! We have a great Marine Science museum around here and so i thought we'd check it out again today. Thank goodness for membership, or these sharks would be breaking my legs for the loans I would have to make. (admission, food, souvies, you know the usual suspects)
