Beth, I'm glad YOU are so excited about me being amongst the ELDERS, LOL!!!! I know age is all a state of mind and the rest of that nonsense but, lately well, I just wish I could turn back the hands of time a little. Enough on that dreary subject.

NO!! NO!!!! Wait, Rose Mary!!! You only have a few more years and you won't believe how much fun it is!! This side of 50 is simply the BEST!!!!!!!

Could never let our Baby Ya Ya starve!!!!!

Turnin' in early here, gang. Gotta knot in my neck/shoulder and DH has offered to rub it. Can't turn down even a partial massage!!! Talk to ya'll tomorrow!!

First let me preface it by saying I do not cook, cannot cook, do a lousy job when I try. I know the numbers for all the take out and the cost of all my favs at the local restaurants. But today I got a wild hair misplaced and decided to fix something for dinner. I thought about the Peanut Sauce Recipe that was on the CB recently from Ohana's and I decided to do an Asian Inspired Chicken Salad. No recipe here just shooting from the frying pan. Anyway, I took chicken breast strips and marinated them in a Thai Peanut Sauce that was mildly hot. I cooked them in a little vegetable oil and put them over a salad of baby greens with mandarin oranges mixed in. Then I sauteed some peanuts in the skillet with the juice left from the cooked chicken. I topped it off with rice noodles! I had a Peanut sauce dressing to use but I tasted it and had to run for the fire extinguisher so I decided that was not the dressing for me. So I used a dressing/marinade from one of the big salad dressing companies it was Asian something. Anyway, even my son who is a picky eater ate some of the lettuce, lots of chicken and the oranges and peanuts!! and the really good news is, it has been almost 4 hours since we ate it and no one has even gotten a little sick from it!! I feel like a domestic goddess!! hehehe NOT!!

thanks for indulging me.

Now to do grad school homework. will return tomorrow. Every one have a great night!!

Morning ladies!!
I for one think it would be a blast if all of us got together. Of course some would be naughty--lol but hey.
Beth would you believe dh and I dont even own a coffee maker. We dont drink it. I have tried it before but by the time I think its drinkable (read FULL of cream and sugar) its really not even coffee anymore. But I must have a DP in the am.
DH is off Friday so Im so looking forward to having him home for a long weekend.
Jeannie--any word on your car? How are you doing?
Lizzie--you need to come and play with us, we havent see you much this week.
