Oh my. I remember the disappointing experience you had with Liam at the MK opening in 2008 and was praying for a better outcome this time! So glad he really got into the Move It, Shake It... parade!

Love, love, love the pink frilly skirt on Danica. So miss those days.

Luckily my kids are now old enough to ride the Tea Cups without DH and myself, we both get sick on them as the kids like to spin it as fast as they can. It's fun to watch them.

this is beyond cute and a wonderful shot! love it!!!

As you can see from the last picture Liam really got into it. Dancing in his seat, clapping and BIG smiles. Made this Mama get a little teary eyed. Walt always makes sure that I get a little pixie dust in the Magic Kingdom with Liam. In 2008 it was Liam’s hair cut at the Barber Shop, this trip it was this parade.

Shopping!

I got to go shopping a couple times at DTD during the week but the best trip was on my birthday. My birthday day was spent at Animal Kingdom; then we had dinner at Cape May. When we got back to the resort I put Liam to bed until he fell asleep (when didn’t take long!) then I drove myself to DTD and got to shop by myself at the World of Disney. Heaven I tell you!!!!

We did make a trip to DTD as a family….didn’t turn out as good because the first store I picked to go in was Once Upon a Toy. Big mistake on my part because I totally forgot that the middle of the store is all video games. Liam loves video games and was none too happy to have to leave after a ½ hour. Meltdown city. I walked the kids around trying to calm him down while I sent DH to get our dinner at Earl of Sandwich (the kids had eaten at the resort). Too bad DH decided to get out of line when he thought it was too long. Which of course I sent him right back to because (1) the line moves fast (2) the line for WPE is way out the door and (3) where else did you think we were going to get food at a packed DTD?? I managed to get Liam settled down with watching Oso on the iPod and found a table to eat at by the performance stage. After DH and I ate, Danica and I went shopping at WOD! She was so cute. She shops like me….can’t decide on anything!

Missing from the pictures at a bus for Liam, a Marie stuff cat for Danica and my 40th anniversary mouse ears (not the collectible one as those were $80! ….. and I was just as happy with my $15 ones that I had my name put on)

I have this thing now with getting the popcorn buckets. At least there are good to packing breakables in your luggage home.

I picked these candies up in Japan because DISer Flossbolna and her sister love them so I thought it would be fun to try them since I can never seem to pick out candy in Japan on my own. I think I was having so much fun with the Japanese girl that was helping me to translate the packages that I didn't notice that the candy was $2.50 each!

great shopping! I almost bought that mug and didn't for the exact reason...it's just a little too small (and not a great shape for stacking). And I almost bought the laptop sleeve...but didn't need it so couldn't justify it. Sigh.

Wow I had some updates to catch up on!!

I absolutely love the pic of Danica all by herself in front of the castle & the one of Liam watching the parade!! So cute!!!

You took some great safari pics. It is tough to get good ones because you are moving & being bounced around so much!! But you got some really good ones!

Great shopping pics. Those magnets are cute as is the sweatshirts, mug & notepad. You made some great choices.

I agree about the D ticket mistake is the Tiki room wording...those are fun magnets I may add those to my already growing souvie wish list for Oct
