hummmm......the cheeziest gift??.....

well....it may not seem as such to some....but I once had an aunt give me a 'fat log' of meat and cheese from Hickory Farms.....2 weeks before I entered a bodybuilding contest!!!

If you have any understanding of what a precontest diet is like....you'll understand how inappropriate this 'gift' was....and at the same time....I knew my aunt was 'clueless'....so I couldn't get upset with her.

Cheesiest gift? Hmmm...I can't really think of one. I did get an ugly elephant toy when I was younger from my cousin. It was this big ugly elephant with wheels on it and I hated it so much.

Cheesiest gift??? Not given to me (although BIL is great with my gifts)... but Luis from my BIL (his own brother mind you) received a game for Christmas (computer game). It was not packaged at all in the box and Luis' brother claimed that he got it used. Neither of us believed him and we figured out that his brother bought it, played it and gave it to Luis when he was done. We noticed that this had to be the truth when Luis' brother stood there the whole time Luis played telling him the hints and how to do everything. Nice brother isn't he?

The weirdest gift I ever got was from my dh before we were married. He was supposed to get Dolly Parton tickets for me but she backed out of the show here. So he got me a miniature hurricane lamp with a confederate bill on it. Why? I still havent figured that out yet. ROFL

GIFTS that make you go 'Huh?'

I once got this ridiculous seat cover cushion thing...you know with the strings that tie onto the backs and sides of the chair...it had a floral print on it...I don't know...I mean, ok we were poor college students then but this was so ODD...why not something small or even something you make or bake yourself...I guess she thought my butt was toooo bony for the hard chair that I studied on.

Not been a good day here . Had tummy troubles most of the
day but, hung in there and made it through the day at work. Tried to nap a bit when I got home but, the 'puter was calling my name . I was afraid you all would move and leave me behind

OK, I have got to award the cheesiest gift prize to Pam!! A USED electric razor WITH hair nubbies is just plain gross

I suppose the cheesiest gift I ever got was this like ceramic beehive thingie w/assorted little jars of honey! I don't even like honey

Ok, off to find something to settle my stomach..........

LOL!!! Great cheesy gifts ya'll!!! Mine? ONE pair of underwear from my eccentric Aunt and Uncle...the other cousins got bottles of Shalimar!!!! Helllooooo!!!! Hmmm....wonder if that's why I love Shalimar perfume to this day??
