Hey, they call Short Track the human Nascar, so I guess in a way you could say I HAVE seen a Nascar thingy in person. Seeing the real thing would indeed be very cool though. Only thing is, I happen to think the ST racers are better dressers.

I am an EVIL mama!! My daughter broke her stereo accidentally a few nights ago from it falling off the bed and just generally not taking care of it. She had been told a million times not to put it on the bed at night, to put it on the nightstand. I have a small CD player that has speakers that aren't functioning too well due to DD and DH turning it up too loud. So I gave DD two choices: do without and save money to buy herself a new one, or take mine. She took mine, and I promptly went out a bought myself a very nice ministereo system.....

Yep! I like the arrangement just fine! Hey, after all, in the Jedi lore, a Padawan is like an apprentice. A master trains the Padawan for years. Well, at first, the "younglings" (kids) are trained by someone like Yoda, then once they get older, are given a master who is there for several years until the Padawan is ready to be a Jedi. Then the Jedi eventually becomes a master to a new Padawan. But for the TF/duct tape patrol, we sorta bend the rules a teensy bit. Not a *lot* but just a little. And one of these days, I'll get better at using this darned duct tape gun.

Okay, well that was probably boring for everyone, so I'll move along.

The Nascar qualifying is pretty neat. There's a couple practice sessions during the day, so you get to see the cars more than just the 3 laps they run for qualifying (1 warm up lap, then 2 laps, taking the best speed of the 2). Important note... *BRING EAR PLUGS*!!!! You need them. Trust me. Especially on the practice sessions (20-30 cars running 180 mph gets awfully loud). But the fun part is seeing the people.

Oh, speaking of short track racing, turn on your Fox network this Sunday. They're racing at Bristol, one of the shortest tracks on the circuit. Kimmy, you'll love it. Well, except for the 3 hours it takes for the race... not like skating where it's over in a few minutes.....

Ok... time to get the mail and see what the weather is like outside. I'll ketchup later!

Took some of my jewlery to be fixed after work then came home to dh making steak for dinner. YUM!!!

I have not seen nor heard much at all about the war. I was at work all day and came home to Nickelodeon on the TV. I probably wont turn on CNN until the kids go to bed. They dont need to see this stuff. I have talked with my eldest about it a bit. He doesnt need to see the pictures of whats going on.

Still no word on my eldests grade on that report. Its bugging both of us LOL.

A solo trip to Disney would be the Ultimate to me. Can't understand people who don't GET IT! My sister (single) who lives in Winterhaven had AP and NEVER went by herself! She thinks I'm crazy when I tell her how I would love to go alone, especially to Epcot, people watch and just take my time wondering the countries.
