Danauk we rode all the coaster at 6 flags.. Superman and Batman are my most fav's. I rode Batman about 7 times, Superman 2, Raging Bull 3 times and the rest only once.. When we did the 6 flags in St Louis - the loved the Boss ( rode it 7 times) and Mr Freeze - which is the same as Dejavu at Great America.. and of course Batman.. we are not doing Magic Mountain when we go to LA due to the really bad reviews it has been getting.. but we will ride the Washingtin DC area coasters too. :et me know when you and Pete are coaster riding in the US.. we can meet you at Cedar Point and Great Amercia...

The NC B's would like to have fun at the DC/VA parks. I have not been to what is now 6 Flags in MD since I was a teen (back when it was Wild World/Adventure World---a waterpark back then---before Mind Eraser came there). I would definitely go back to Hershey and BG-Williamsburg.

NC Beast is trying to cheer me up today saying that he hopes to take me back WDW for a getaway in December. I'm not sure that it possible this year--we still got 1 day left and about 3 pluses left on old hoppers.

NC B's we will be in the DC area for a few, very few, days to see Geoff at the National Boy Scout Jamboree on saturday July 30th.. we are thinking of doing a 6 flags park on Friday the 29th.. Let us know if you can meet us...

I'm not sure about NC Beast's schedule for July. We don't have to worry about hotels/kennels because we stay usually at the in-laws in MD---they are about 45 minutes away from the 6 Flags park in light traffic.

Hi guys
Well my SIL has dissapointed me yet again (the one who is getting married in Auz when we are at WDW.) Her and BIL are supposed to be coming over to us this evening and staying over before our trip to Alton Towers tomorrow. I have spent today cleaning the house and getting the guest room ready. They were origionally coming over for dinner time but that changed a few days ago. Then they said they would be arriving at 9pm, then yesterday they said 10pm. Now they have just phoned (it is 8:50pm here) and said it will be at least 10:30. Now bear in mind we have to leave tomorrow at 7:15 to get to the theme park for opening we are not really going to get chance to speak to them before going to bed. I just get the feeling we are being used as a convenience to stay at before our join trip tomorrow and that we are only going with them as it would be rude to stay here the night and then go to a place they know we have annual passes to without us.

Oh well, never mind. Anyone fancy meeting in the M&M pool for a dip whilst I wait for them?

DanaUK.. she sounds like a selfish spoiled brat to me.. PD to you..have a nice glass of wine and relax..

As geffric said have a BIG glass of wine and relax! Hope you have a great day.

Baby just went down for the third night in a row up in his room. He seems to sleep really well in the bigger bed. I hope he sleeps through the night again.

Danauk, can you not talk to your DSIL or the way to Alton towers?

Good morning, it's sunny and gonna be a beautiful day. Time to plant the tomato's!

well it is definitely starting to be summer.. just got back from lunch and the bridges were up to let the sail boats through.. had burgers on the outside patio.. yep summer is coming..

Hi guys, thanks for the PD. It turned out the reason my SIL was late was because she had been wedding dress shopping with her mum and they were late getting back so were late having dinner (she kept going from one shop to another, the problem being they were in different towns!!). After that the wedding was not even mentioned.

Today was interesting! Summer is definately not here (I am envious of those who have said summer for them has arrived.) Today it rained, rained and you guessed it rained some more. We also found out after the 2nd rollercoaster that my BIL does not share our love of coasters! Pete, SIL and myself managed to ride the ones we wanted to though (even though it never stopped raining and we were soaked!) We decided to leave the new rollercoaster until last as the lines for that are huge in the morning. However as we walked over to in we noticed that according to the electric board that displays the wait times that is was closed. However I knew my SIL had not even seen it so asked her if she wanted to have a walk over anyway and look at it (a comment I later was very thankful for making.) When we got there we saw they were testing it and just at that moment they re opened it. So we decided to ride (minus the BIL who waited with our cups of coffee we had just bought) However they only had one car on so we had to wait for about 20 minutes (something I was later very greatful for even though it was raining at the time.) So we went on the ride (SIL loved it) and we decided we were too wet to carry on. We however had decided to bring our swimming things in case we fancied going over to the water park hotel and go for a swim and ride the slides (most are inside.) So we got the car and drove up to the hotel. When you enter the hotel you can look through the windows into the water park and we were just stood there about to go down the stairs to get into our swim suits when an announcement came that the hotel was being evacuated and all the alarms started to go off. We looked through the window to see the water park was being evacuated as well. The poor people had to go out into the car park in their swim suits in the freezing cold rain with no shoes on!! The staff were handing out thermal blankets. Had it been 5 minutes later or had I not asked SIL if she wanted to go look at the new ride in the park we would have been in there in our swim suits! So we decided we had had enough and went back to our car to go home. As we were leaving ambulances and fire engines were speeding down the drive so I am not sure what was going on. So today was eventful but fun.
Right now SIL and BIL have gone as they have to drive down to Heathrow airport to pick up BIL's brother who is coming over from Australia to live with them for 6 months (in their 2 bedroomed flat!). I am having a relaxing evening in front of the TV, Big Brother followed by the 2 hour finale of Desperate Housewives.
Have a great day/evening all.

Today (or rather yesterday) was a bust of a day. Nothing seemed to go right so TagBabyIan and I didn't get out of the house until after 4pm and that was mostly because I was going stir-crazy.

This evening ohanafamily and I went to see Peter Pan. Granny B came over to watch TagBabyIan so we could have dinner and see the show. I think we all had a good time. The next musical we have tickets for is The Producers, in two weeks.

Good morning. It's gonna be a nice few days around here, should pick up my mood. worried about money as usual. If I could just win the lottery.
