Good Evening - it's been quite some time since I posted on The Dis. I am really missing my laptop and it just shows that "you don't know what you got, till it's gone."

Happy Birthday MonorailDude
:bday: :thewave: :bday:

My 6yr old DD had a very good gymnastics week this week. She has been mastering some skills on the balance beam, and I am so proud of her. It's so much fun watching your child progress at an activity they love to do.

BabyKate is doing well in her cast. I think her skin is starting to itch, because she has been banging her cast on the highchair as if she is annoyed with it. It has been 1 week since she had the cast put on, and we have 2 1/2 more weeks to go. She gets it removed the day after Easter

For all you guys that haven't been to Chef Mickeys, you all have to go. This is one of our favorite restaurants in The World, and it is so much fun there. I recommend breakfast instead of dinner, but that is personal preference. We didn't get to go last year because our PM was on the day that we fled Florida because of hurricane Jeanne - so we are definitly not missing it this year!!

Well I guess that is about it - I treated Stephanie to Dairy Queen because of her accomplishments in gymnastics so I am going to go have my mint Oreo Blizzard - yummy!!!

See you all later - I hope you have a good night and a great tomorrow!!!!

slo

Good morning everyone,

Firstly, sorry I missed your birthday yesterday MonorailDude I hope you had a great day.

slo I'm glad Katie seems to be doing well.I sympathise with her itching cast. When I broke my elbow I had chicken pox at the same time and my mum had to pour calamine lotion down the pot!! (Oh I guess you guys call it a cast, sorry!) I was 5 at the time!

Oh slo would you mind making those mint oreo blizzards for the TAGLIARCHY they sound yummy!!

RRBB I am so jealous about your weather. Here although it is sunny it is really cold. The wind chill is the problem here now. Although it has warmed up a little, the weather people say we have had the last of the snow. Plus I can see spring is on the way. Some of my flowers have started to grow and I now have a large amount of frogs in my pond!
Also Happy 3 month birthday TagBabyIan.

The hen night I went on last night was OK. We mainly just chatted whilst eating our meals and making a few bets on the dogs although I gave up betting after a few races as I kept choosing loosing dogs! The only problem was that some of the girls like to drink quite a bit and the conversation can get a bit crude for my liking. I think I just realised that I have less in common with my work friends than what I thought. But the bride had a good time which is all the matters. I feel kind of sorry for the bride at the moment. Her wedding is next Saturday and her dress isn't ready yet! They have promised it will be altered today after she has been for another fitting and will be ready tomorrow. I really hope so.

Oh well I guess I should get ready for today. We are going for lunch with our Disney friends and then Pete has to go into school. It is the final night of his school show tonight. I am volunering at the theatre later as we have a big show on (some quite well known English commedians.)

Have a great day everyone.

Happy Birthday Monorail Dude, yesterday was DH's birthday too and his party went off without a hitch!

Baby Ian 3 months already wow!

So glad baby Kate is feeling better I worry about our little diser's.

Wow it sure is quiet round here lately!!

RRBB I hope you had a great day at the zoo with Ian yesterday. I love going to the zoo. We are taking our kids on a trip to a wild animal park at the end of this year. A lot of them have never seen wild animals in real life before!!

s&k'smom congratulations on being laid off, I think!! What would you like to do now? You are the third person I know who has lost their job this week!! Must be the time of year for it!

So what does everyone have planned to do today? I have rehearsal later at the theatre and some housework to do.

Have a great day everyone.

Thanks for the sympathies you guys. I'm this close to applying for my childcare license, just waiting for the medical form to come back so I think I'll just collect and get a few projects done around the house before I start daycare. I only want one child and much prefer special needs. These typical kids are boring :goodvibes I need more chaos!

Hello everyone and Happy Sunday!!!! :flower:

I'm just stopping by for a quick hello while BabyKate is having her lunch. So what is everyone doing today??? I'm cleaning house, which is pretty typical for what I do on Sunday's. It always amazes me how much dirt I pick up when I dust and how much dirt I suck up in the vaccuum. Where does all this dirt come from????? The good thing about seeing all the dirt, is that it makes me feel my cleaning was worth while.

It's hard to believe an entire week has gone by and it is time for another delivery for the M&M pool. The delivery truck is bringing Reese's Pieces for all our peanut butter lovers on the island. I hope you enjoy them!!! :)

I guess that is about it for now. BabyKate is almost done with her lunch and it is time to put her done for a nap. Talk to you all later!!

slo

I have a confession to make, I'm cheating with another message board. Yes it's not the Dis. It's all about royalty. I found it after researching about the royal family after watching a movie about the Queen Mother, actually it made me think of Danauk because I think it's based out of the UK. I hope you will all forgive me.

I'll forgive you. I have had the pleasure of seeing some of the royal family. I saw HM the Queen when I was 6 when she visited our town. I also met and spoke to Princess Anne the Princess Royal, Princess Margaret and Princess Diana. Princess Anne was lovely, I chatted to her for a few minutes as she had just listened to the orchestra I played in at the time.
Princess Diana is burried about half an hour away from my house. Her family home is in the county I live in.

Hi All!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How is it going today???

s&ksmom, I guess it is a good thing to collect the unemployment package...

We had lunch at the Salad Bar(to be read as Fuddruckrts) today after visiting a sick friend. I have to get back to working on the Taxes...

:jumping2:

Hey everyone!

Well, I'm back home! I had a GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! trip!!!! There are so many things that I want to tell y'all! Oh, and I don't think I'm going to read the pages I've missed, so would anyone mind giving me a brief summary??? Thanks!

Well, some of the headlights:

-On Monday, we were at Haunted Mansion, and who should be in front of us but Blake (the guy that I've liked for the longest time and rejected me to the Winter Formal dance...) and his family!! Mind you, this is the first time I've seen someone I knew while on vacation, too!! So I talked to him before we got into the doom buggies and found out that he was only going to be at WDW for that day! What a coincidence!

*Spoiler Hint!*
-Stitch's Great Escape was soooooooo cute!! The four of us (my parents, my friend, and I) all loved it! I know there have been a lot of complaints about it on the boards, but I think they are being overly-critical. True, the same exact things happen to you as they did in Alien Encounter, but it is a different sequence and story line, so it is much better! The ride's purpose was to be cute, and it definitely succeeded!

-I converted my friend to a Disney Fanatic! Not only is her favorite ride TOT (like me!!), but she wants to do the College Internship, too! My parents told me previously to this trip that for spring break of 07 *my graduation year!*, we're going to WDW for a huge Magical Gathering with my family, and I can bring a friend again, so it will probably be her.

-Turtle Talk: WOW!!! He talked to me!!! It was totally awesome! A must-do for everyone!! My family used to completely skip the Living Seas, but from now on it will probably be a must do.

Overall, the trip was very very awesome! It is probably one of the best I've had in a long time!

Does anyone have any questions about recent additions, changes? Oh, by the way, the castle changed for the 50th Celebration! I'll try to get a pic of it up. I like the gold characters, but not the big picture in the middle.

Okay, gotta go! Sorry this post was so long!

woohoooo, I am not build-a-bearless anymore !!!! :cool1:
DH Lost a bet 2 weeks ago and finally paid up today !! I am now the proud owner of CoCoa Puff Bear Jr. I think DH is a little bit jealous of my new
build-a-bear, cause I haven't put him down for more then 5 minutes yet..

om gosh did you see there are 3 pages of people who posted they were tagged tonight ??? Is there some sort of Tag Fairy convention going on ???
:wizard: why do I always miss the good stuff ????
The Tag Fairies are on a Tag Rampage....is it that time of the month already??
:rotfl: sorry just kidding and I just couldn't help myself...

DH: so glad to hear your trip was great..
is the land opened yet?? is it redone in a cruise theme??

we are leaving the 14th of April for WDW and I can't wait!!! We are going on the special AP preview of Soarin' :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

ok off to brag i mean post about my new build-a-bear !!!! I am such a kid sometimes, ya never would guess I am 32... :cloud9:
