I made a packing list!

Go, TK, it's your Disney trip, go, TK, it's your Disney trip!

And boy are we headed in to some heck of a countdown over here. Ye ole ticker says 1 week, six days, and I say, EEP!!! It feels like we've been waiting for this trip for so long.

Excitement is running really high in my house right now. Nemo started a new tradition of talking about Disney every night before bed. We talk about our favorite things or what we're going to do on the trip, or food, or whatever, and it's great. I really love that he's just as excited about it as we are.

So, now that I've got my packing list, broken down by individual person, pretty much squared away, I need to go through our travel size tolietries and see if there's anything we're running low on or that needs to be refilled.

And I'm not trying to pressure myself, but I really, really, really, really, really want new tie dye for the family for this trip. I'm hoping that I'll be able to pull that together this week. I was so excited to see a craft store near us actually has the shirts I use on mega sale, and I'll be stocking up!

So, in short, things are looking up.

They have a sample set of 4 of the colors in the little baby bottles for $13, and the full size bottles of ALL of the colors at a store in the mall near me. Let me know if you (or anyone else on the DIS, BTW) wants something. I happy to pick it up!

Hello, I'm typically a lurker. Just wanted to say I'm sorry for your loss. I just read the first page of your TR, and also saw the posts about your Aunt and Godfather. I hope you've found some comfort and peace. Your post about losing your mom touched me deeply. My mom is still here, but we never spend much time together. We talk on the phone almost daily, she lives 5 miles away, but I don't get to see her often. She works ALL THE TIME. She's in her 60s but works almost 60 hours a week, by choice, so it doesn't give her time to see me or my sons. Your post made me realize there will be a day when she's not around, I need to talk to her about making one day a week, or even a month, for us.

Have fun on your trip! Can't wait to read more.

Hurray for a packing list!!! Your trip is very, very close. I have been in somewhat of the same boat as you are in regards to our beach trip. We are excited, but I am not nearly as organized as I normally am. Yesterday, I tackled the packing/shopping list for the first time.

Hope you are able to fit making some tie-dye shirts into your schedule!

I'll have to take a look and see if I really want any. Speaking of which, do you have an OPI purple? My fall back is Mad as a Hatter, and I loved it when I had it with purple underneath. Looks awesome.
