Well, mostly they've told me to keep doing what I'm already doing! Make folks feel welcome, try & keep the peace & keep the discussions going. On top of that is the administrative kinds of things like dealing with Spam & making sure people adhere to the board guidelines. And getting to know the great folks who keep this place going!
