I guess we had a fight break out on Black friday at the Roseville Galleria Mall in Victoria Secrets . Two women and 3 men. It was on the news. Over womens underwear.

What happened?

Ours was nice and quiet. We visited with my Dad and stepmom for a bit in the morning and then spent the rest of the day at my Mom's house.

Did anyone do any Black Friday shopping? This was the first year in a long time that I skipped it. There just wasn't anything that I wanted. DH did go out for a bit around 5:00 am but he hasn't mastered the art of Black Friday shopping yet.

He went to Home Depot for $.99 poinsettias and a $5 wreath. So he should have spent about $10 + tax.
Instead he came home with 12 pointsettias (we only needed 4 or 5), two wreaths (we only needed 1) and an artificial tree because it was only $69 (we already have two artificial trees and this one rivals Charlie Brown's tree, unfortunately...but he couldn't have known that because the picture on the box looks much nicer).

So what could have cost me about $30 full retail ended up being almost a $100 trip

I guess I will have to work on the Black Friday shopping thing with him
