Is there a certain area that is keeping you in pain? Is it a pinched nerve?
The doctor says it is a pinched nerve but he never even examined me. That was just from me telling him what was going on.
It originally happened over a year ago, the day after a workout. 6 weeks of PT then and it pretty much disappeared. I had a couple of times where the same area would bother me, but then doing the stretching the PT had given me would clear it up again.
Then BAM...it was back again with a vengence (exact same area). It was like someone was stabbing me in the upper spine/lower neck with an icepick. That pain radiated across my shoulder and down my left arm.
After the steriod pack the doctor gave me this time, the back pain eased up but I'm still having problems with intermittant back/shoulder pain. My arm also goes from almost completely fine to pain shooting down the arm into the hand. My hand also goes numb and then starts to tingle (like when you hit your funny bone) many times during the day.
