KT27, the mini golf party sounds awesome. I would have done it if 75% of my guests weren't over 60.
I don't want to burst anyone's bubble about Chip & Dale's campfire, but you might want to do a dry run for yourself before you get all your guests to go. DH is a huge Chip & Dale fan, so we decided to try the campfire. It was practically impossible for us to get there and we DROVE. Not to mention we normally like kid-oriented stuff and even this thing was too young for us. Chip & Dale kind of walk around but you're really lucky to get them to come up to you, it's not like a character meal where it's a guarantee.
We had a welcome breakfast at Rainforest Cafe outside the Animal Kingdom. That way, it was a meal for people, they could have the whole day to themselves afterward, and it was easy to get to without requiring park admission. The food was great, and it only cost around $12 per person.
However, I have to say that even that wasn't easy for our guests. Only the guests who could tag along with us from our hotel bothered to come (and we paid upfront for everyone, so we lost out a considerable amount of money). It's easy for us to forget who have been to WDW so many times, but the transportation thing is not easy for a lot of people to figure out. That's not even counting the fact that it's really unreliable, I mean sometimes you have to wait 30 minutes or longer for a bus. I will never again go to Disney without a rental car!!!
