does anyone know IF and WHEN welcome home Wednesday's will come back. My family and I really enjoyed going. We always go to the royal gathering at Disneyland

My guess is that it is gone for good. The new DVC management continues to make change as all new management does to prove their worth and control.

When Disney takes something away they never tell you that, that's negative in mouse world and not allowed. They will decrease the item or tell you that they are working on a re-imagined experience. WHW was a feel good event paid for with our dues, maybe the mingles are getting better reviews.

If that's the case that's too bad. We really enjoyed going last year. All good things come to an end I guess

I agree that it is pretty pitiful that DVC just took away the WHW. If they are indeed "re-imagining" them as they told us members, why the heck couldn't they continue the status quo until that spankin' new WHW was ready to roll out? It's just silly that Marketing apparently can't "reimagine" unless the old WHW is ended? Just plain ridiculous….

It's been quite a while since they announced it would be replaced by something better. Apparently, it's so good that it is taking longer to build than Avatarland.
