Glad you had fun! We may be at one next Wednesday. I do have Lunch with the Animal Specialist so I may not be out in time!

How long have they been giving out hats! I wish they would change it to something else soon. Last time we went they had a private party at the dance club and were just handing out the hats. No thanks, have plenty already. But we do enjoy going since we are usually at the Beach Club.

It is a "party" for DVC members. There are 2 entertainers who do a bit of a comedy routine, and then bring audience members up to participate in contests, the participants getting a special Welcome Home Wednesdays pin. There are also refreshments; you get a coupon and can choose among fruit, pretzels, Cracker Jack. Also, there is water and lemonade.
At the end there is a raffle, with prizes such as a gift basket, gift card for Sammy Duvall's, free Owner's Locker for a year.
And then when leaving, you get a nice DVC baseball hat.
There is no sales pressure, and not even a mention of adding points. They do, however, mention a few resorts--that is the extent of promotion of DVC.
Some people hate the show, and others enjoy it. I've been twice, and have enjoyed it both times.

Yep, same navy blue I got last year.

It was not the same, games were entertaining but a little lame for us. Glad they included more people in the games, bud did like the old Jeopardy far at better.
Also we were disappointed in the prizes. They used to give away 2 dinners, and game prizes were nicer, like Disney flash drives, DVC soft sided coolers, etc.popcorn
Sad Deevy retired, maybe they could cast a new 2 nd lady of DVC, I'd apply for that job in a minute, and promise not to screech!

We did get the blue DVC member cap.

We also liked the old design better on the hats, so, my hubby still wears the old hat!

We left after 10 minutes. Very lame and could spend your time more productively wandering the parks or resorts.

Opinions vary! I enjoy going every few years! I have participated and really enjoy the special pins that I got.

We went last Wed. DH needed a new hat. He lost the one he brought somewhere.
We enjoy it. We have been 6-7 times. It is a fun break for us.

This time they were giving out tan Animal Kingdom Lodge DVC hats.....but they were limited. I got one, but DH got the regular blue one since he had to make a bathroom stop.
