We haven't been to WHW since 2009 and my kids really want to go. I remember reading that the time has changed. What time does it take place now? Also, have they been giving out hats lately?

i don't think they give out hats to everyone anymore. we went to welcome home wednesday last year and they told us they aren't doing hats anymore, just deevee see (or however you spell her name) pins. lame-o.

but that was last year - who knows, maybe enough people complained about not getting a hat!

we were just at the bronx zoo this weekend where DVC had a little area set up. since we were members they gave us these black member hats with the new blue mickey logo. hats are very cheap. in fact they turned DH's hair black! lol!

We attended in May 2010 and it was hats, lemonade and popcorn. I wouldn't cancel an ADR to attend.

Awww thanks! We actually have the red hats from 2009, but my daughter was hoping for a different color hence her request to go to WHW!

Uh oh! I just saw those hats advertised on Ebay several days ago. Someone is going to be in for surprise when they put on their new hats.
