We are home for our first Mommy/Daughters trip to Disney. The trip had its ups and down for sure!! We ended up not having a great experience at CSR and moved to the Contemp. We had AWESOME Dis Meets-which really saved my sanity!! I am going to finish up May-do a little review of our Sep trip-I did not really take to many pics and then start a PTR for Dec. Thanks for all the sweet comments on FB.

Oh no! That is not good news about CSR! I am very curious as to what happened. Glad you were able to move - and over to the CR, very nice. You were upgraded from CSR to the CR on a trip last year, right?

It is a nice place-just to many things went wrong. Nope not us, first time at both resorts.

Friday May 28th

We woke up this morning on time so that the girls could go to Cape May for bkfst and Jeff could head to DHS for Star Wars Weekend. We all took the bus to DHS and then the girls and I hopped on a boat over to the Beach Club. We found the lobby made a left and were at Cape May. I had read many postive reviews of both the food and character interactions here so we were very excited to try it out!!

The buffet had many great choices and we all started with fruit and bagels and or donuts.

The first character to come by was Goofy. Cayley decided he was a little intimidating so she did not want a pic with him

Next up was Donald

And then Minnie came over. This hands down was the best character interaction we have had at Disney, She was awesome!!

She came and sat right down with them at the table and started coloring. The girls loved it. What a great moment.

We then went outside and took a few pics

We then headed back to DHS to meet up with Jeff. We saw a little of the parade and then made our way over to the Boardwalk for our ADR at Big River Brewing Co. Our meal there was very good but it was a ton of food. After eating we headed over to Epcot for our Dis Meet in France.

When we got to France there was a special kitty waiting. Only Avery wanted her pic taken.

Then we met up with our friends, Dana and family, Leanne and family, Brandy and family and Lisa and John. We were sad not to meet the infamous Hunter but understood it was to hot for Lisa's mom to walk all the way over. Sadly, I do not have a group pic. But I do have a important pic to share.

We all stood and chatted until the heat and ammount of sweat was unbearable. it was great to meet everyone in person.

We headed over to MouseGears with Leanne and did a little shopping. We seperated but had similar dinner plans so thought we may see eachother again.

We took the monorail to MK and then the boat to WL for our first dinner at WCC.

We liked our dinner here overall though the girls did not eat much. They liked the ketchup game and the pony race. We ran into Leanne and her girls gave my girls some gift bags. Very sweet. Since it was their last night we said goodbye. We then headed over to the MK for EMH but as I remember it started to rain so we headed back to SSR. It had been a very fun and busy day.

Aw, such problems to have! I should be so lucky!

I didn't remember that y'all came over to Beach Club to eat Cape May. We had probably already left that morning for AK. Love the dresses the girls have on at that breakfast--very cute! Glad you enjoyed your meal there.
