Welcome Home gift?

I noticed on another thread, that a DVC member writes about getting a tote for a "welcome home" gift. We will be going home for the first time in just 8 DAYS , is this something I can expect? If so will it be in our villa or how will it be given?

We bought long distance after our tour, not at Disney. It came in the mail with our closing paperwork to be signed.

My tote came with my contract in the mail too.

We bought BVC in 2002 and didn't get a tote!

Did it start after that year? We did receive a beautiful mated "watercolor" print of the resort that I framed.

Peggy Jean - I'm pretty certain the other poster is referring to the gift received from the sales center from a DVC purchase or add-on. Receiving a gift for simply "checking in" isn't typical.

Of course, you might be a lucky winner if attending the "Welome Home Wednesday" event?? Enjoy your trip!

We DO love those totes, though. DH calls them our $20K totes!
