My younger cousin will be turning 10 in late August. In early September however, he will be leaving to Disney for 3 days. Last year he went to Disney numerous times. About 3 or 4. The year before that he went twice and he didn't go often the years before 2005. So this year it's going to be the last trip he's going on until couple of years (At least that's what they say ) since his parents aren't passholders anymore. My mom always gives him $50 for his birthday and $25 for x-mas considering it's her only Nephew. Since this year he will basically be going to Disney for his birthday i decided to decorate a little basket for him and get it delievered to the Pop Century hotel where he will be staying. I went on the DisneyOutlet website (www.DisneyDeals.com) and i found tons of cute things for him to have during his trip to Disney! Today i just came back from Disney so i bought some things for him there ...

I bought him an autograph book - $3
a GIANT 12'inch pen from a souvenir shop (not from WDW) - $3 The pen has Mickey,Goofy and Pluto),
Personalized Mickey baseball cap -$8
Disney birthday button - FREE!
5, 1 Disney Dollars - $5
Personalized Mickey cup with straw - $3
Mickey watch - FREE! Cousin who works in Disney was able to get it for me.
Mickey plush 19'inch - FREE! cousin won it at work

TOTAL AT DISNEY = $22

Here are the things i found on the DisneyOutlet site...
Fleece Throw of Mickey for - $7.99
Dash Backpack - $5.99
Mickey pillow - $7.99

TOTAL AT OUTLET = $22

At other places that aren't Disney such as Walmart,Walgreens, etc.
Mickey t-shirt- $2
Candy at PartyCity - $4 for GIANT lollipops, chocolate etc.
Basket at Micheals - $7
Stuffing for basket - $2

TOTAL AT ETC. STORES = $15

GRAND TOTAL = $59

Anything else that's cheap that we can possibly add for a 10 year old boy? We are doing this ahead of time so we make sure that we don't forget. We haven't bought that Candy but we saw the prices at PartyCity. We are afraid the candy will get old or something. And i would like to know how you can get the Welcome basket delievered to the hotel.

Yeah we did. After putting some of the basket together we realized how much stuff it was for such a good price. Walmart had really good Disney T-SHIRTS that didn't say FL on them (I live in FL) for 2-7 dollars. Micheals had alot of sweet bargains. So did RAG SHOP. We are happy with the results of our shopping expenses. We can't wait to hear what my cousin says when he recieves his basket full of goodies! :thumbsup2
