Hi everyone!
What is the best site that you have found for welcome bags? I have been going back and forth as to whether or not to do these, but since we are only having about 25-30 people I thought, why not?
Price is a big concern for me, so I wasn't looking to spend a whole lot!
Thanks in advance!!

I am subbing too, since we keep coming up with ideas for the bags, but not sure what to put the items in. :)

We are just using pink gift bags! We are going to tie a green ribbon to the handle( to complement our wedding colors). DF and I are going to create a personal logo to attach to the bag also. Another more expensive welcome bag we have thought of is the reusable disney bags. They have them in the park but I have n looked online for them yet.

Speaking of welcome bags, does anyone remember the thread that links to things to put in the welcome bags, info wise? Or have templates for these? Like tips, hidden mickey info, etc?

I got my bags from oriental trading co. I wanted a reusable bag but didn't want to spend a ton. I think it was $25 for 50 bags and they came in an assortment of colors which made it easy to color-code them by resort. I have a bunch leftover and use them for groceries and when I don't have gift bags.

I planned to stamp them, but the ink I had didn't really show up so I just made a Mickey head tag with the guests' names and reservation #'s.

I used paper gift bags as well. Inexpensive and easy to pack.

One thing to consider though is delivering the bags to your guests. I didn't really think about that when doing the bags, and it took me forever to get them to everyone.

I only had a few guests and so did Welcome bags which ended up having quite a lot in them. I decided quite early on that I was going to do them, and so collected the stuff over quite a long period!!
I had bags printed at Vistaprint with my logo on. I am sure you have seen them on my PJ, so I won't bore you with another picture of them!!
I put in a 'Bare Necessities' pack containing paracetamol (tylonol?), ibuprofen, indigestion tablets, band-aids, antiseptic wipes, insect repellent/bite relief and blister plasters. I also put in things like, stain removal wipes, travel detergent, a shoe shine pad, a small sewing kit, a manicure set, hand sanitizer gel, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, a small travel alarm clock........ well you get the idea!!! I just put in anything I thought my guests might find useful or may have forgotten to pack!!!
I made it quite difficult for myself, because I put everything in boxes or bags and made little labels for them featuring Disney characters. I guess it was quite hard work, but I really enjoyed doing it!!!
I also included information in the bags like ADR times, park times, park maps, transport information etc and a welcome letter. I only had two children, but they had their own backpack welcome bags containing small games and toys etc.
A lot of brides on the boards state that they wish they hadn't done the welcome bags, but I am really glad I did!!! My guest really loved them and used a lot of the stuff in them. The bags got used around the parks etc too!!!

We are using the tote bag from lands end, I am going with the medium size and filling it with goodies for our guests...I am doing natural canvas with pink as it goes with our wedding colors :lovestruc

For our wedding last october we used the reusable disney bags! Everyone loved them and I smile everytime I see someone using them. It was actually cheaper then us getting boxes made with our logo on it.

I didnt have a disney wedding but did have a Beach wedding so I did welcome bags and Old Navy had really cute beach bags that were super cheap...even better cause my mom picked them up in Sept and they were marked down to .10. They were really cute mesh bags and I still use mine 5 years later. Dont think that Old Navy still has them but my point is if you have time checking for clearance beach bag type in Aug to Sept could save you a bit.

I also got mine from oriental trading and was very happy with them for the price. They were very reasonable and are of good quality, and also look nice. Oriental Trading has a lot of different options.

We purchased paper gift bags from Michaels for about $5 total. Then my DH made a label and we stuck it to the bags. They came out pretty nice and everyone really loved them.

we put disney water bottles in our welcome bags. I would highly recommend them! Plus, if you put the guest name/confirmation number on the bag, and give them to a manager at the resort they will give the bags to the guests at check-in or deliver to their rooms. So all you had to do is get them to the lobby!

I got welcome bags for our guest from Michaels & personalized tote bags for our bridesmaid & Disney reuseable bags for our ring bearer and flower girl.

Everyone loved their bags.:)

D23, those bags are nice! Where did you get all of the "I'm celebrating" pins? They look great on the bags.

Hi Jillian,
Thanks! We started collecting the pins throughout all our Disney trips. Sometimes they have the pin cart out at the Magic Kingdom or you can also try any hotel.
