Welcome Bags

We want to put together welcome bags for everyone. We don't want to go crazy but what do you think the essential items should be that are included? I figured the following; park maps, itinerary, some snacks and maybe disposible cameras? Any other ideas? Anything helps

Sounds like you're off to a good start - for my sister's wedding in MD, she put in bottled water, some candy and snacks, and local area interest maps & discount coupons from penny savers for a local restaurant.

We are planning on filling our welcome bags with itinerary, park maps, bottled water, some candy, pretzels, handi-wipes, band-aids, after-bite wipes, lip balm pens, and some stickers for the kids.

You should search the forum for welcome bags. There have been several threads where girls listed everything they were putting in their bags. That's what helped my DF and I. Good luck!! You have lots of time... We only have 35 days left... (31 til we leave for FL!! Wooohoooooo!!!!! )

there have been a lot of great ideas in other threads about what to put in gift bags. we are really trying to fill them with things that will not only make our guests more comfortable (like bottled water, tide-to-go pens, sewing kits, etc.), but things that are definitely "disney" but that won't make our less-disney-loving guests go "ugh." , like edible mickey stuff--like the mickey pretzels, mickey shaped chocolates or chocolate-covered pretzels from Seashore Sweets at the Boardwalk (where we're staying), lite sticks/glo necklaces for our dessert party, etc.

lots of fun stuff that won't break the bank!! pick stuff that also represents you as a couple. be original. and have fun!
