Im hoping to finish off ost of my welcome bags before i get to Disney. Does anyone have any ideas as to waht i could include in them that i can pack in my case? Icant include many food items as they are funny in the UK about what you can fly with!

I have though about this too. I was thinking:

disposable camera
rain poncho
Lanyard so they can collect disney pin and hold thier ticket
water bottle
mints
gum
itnerary of the events
sun block
bottle of skin lotion

I forgot one more thing. package of 3 golf balls for the guys who will be golfing while down there.

Daniella

My bags were small, but packed FULL:

disposable camera
cooling neck tie
pack of kleenex
anti-bac. wipes
sunscreen
poncho
pen
lotion
hershey kisses
travel games
sewing kit
water bottle
lip balm
foot soak
playing cards
plastic mug
advil
change purse (to hold room keys, park tix etc...)

Then I also made up romance bags for my couples going.
bubble bath
bath salts
candles
matches
cork screw
bottle stop
bottle of wine
(the wine glasses were favors at the wedding)
bath pillow
back massagers

I got most of the stuff from Oriental Trading, and the dollar section at Target.

Hope this helps

Melissa

Melissa, i totally wish i was a guest at your wedding! Your welcome bags sound cool, especially the couples ones such a nice touch!

A rain poncho is a must. I bought 2 in a pack for $1 at the dollar tree. In the park it was $4 or more. I also had a deck of cards. a little sewing kit and a lint roller.

Laura, thanks they ended up being a huge hit. Everyone was very suprised when they got them at check in. We only had 2 couples and 9 guests all together so it wasn't a big deal to do. The main reason I did couples bags, was one couple had just had a baby 2 months before, and the other couple was on their loooong overdue honeymoon, so it just seemed like a nice touch. They actually ended up being a lot of fun to make.

I made our gift baskets once we got to our room, and then hand delivered them to our guests.

I used small silver rectangle tins (from Target's $1 section) and decorated them with scrapbooking 3-D wedding stickers. Each tin was marked with stickers identifying their relation to us: Mother of the Bride, Father of the Bride, Best Man and etc..... For other guests I purchased the cutest stickers that were wedding cakes, rings, bells and etc....

In each basket I put the paper shreds at the bottom and hanging down off the sides. In each basket there was:

  • Bubbles
  • Candles
  • Our Favorite Love Songs Music CD
  • Personalized M&M's placed in the frosted cones
  • Handwritten & Personal Thank You Note Cards and
  • Matching Wedding Day Programs
  • WDW Playing Cards

I wrapped each one in wedding cellophane paper (clear with gold swirls), tied with bows and gift tags. Everyone loved them!

i bought tote bags from amazon.com & personalized them with iron on transfers & my computer. weve bought most of the items online, the dollar store & walgreens with the exception of food which were buying at publix or wegoshop delivary when we arrive in florida. so our bags will have

a handwritten welcome & thank you card
a itiniary of group events & wedding day transportation
a disney postcard with stamp & a pen
water bottles
florida oranges
snack items like pretzels, cheetos, muffins
a palm tree journal
a wedding candle
a small mickey plush
a bottle of wine
wine glasses
sunscreen lotion
911 kit with bandaid & tyenol
some toys for the kids like a disney hardcover book, water googles & floaties, mickey playing cards, fruit snacks, etc.

35 days to go! :bride:

I used the Disney Print Creations Software, stock card, a round corner punchie and a mickey head punchie.

It was a breeze to do Laura :)

We're getting maried at seabreeze pointe in Oct. just subcribing here so I can show DF later.

Laura - I too am from the UK - I was thinking of including travel plug and a laminate currency converter ready reckoner.
