How many people take their welcome bags for their guests to the front desk to give out or do you give them the bag personally??

Thanks :)

I'm curious about this too..

I was just going to leave them at the front desks for everyone upon check-in...

What is everyone's experience with that? Does everyone get their welcome bag ok?

I dropped them all off at the front desk. Everyone I talked to raved about how happy they were when they received the box at check in. I gave a couple of them in person, but I don't think I could have given them to each family in person.

It was crazy enough trying to go to the different hotels and talk to all the managers.

So when your guests checked in the front desk people knew they had something to give them?? most of my guests are staying in one hotel so that makes it easy for me.

Anyone ever have Disney LOSE their welcome bags??

I brought them a list of all the reservations & also put those numbers on a tag on each bag. They made a note on each reservation in the computer and they had all the bags in the back.

My friend told me that she was checking in & the cm was working with her and was like oh I'll be right back and then came back with the box. My friend loved it!

None of my bags were lost. The Grand was even able to go and pick up 2 of my boxes I had delivered to the Poly because the guests had transfered last minute.

How do you leave the bag with the front desk. I am using Disney sinch sacks from the Disney website. Can I just leave the bags with the name and reservation number on it or should I put it in another bag or a box?

It's on the Disney website. It is like one of those sinch backpacks where you pull the strings on the side to turn it into a backpack.

Ah--no just make sure there is a tag attached to it. I would have the tag attached in a way that ensures the bag stays closed so nothing accidently falls out. We used gable boxes but bags would work too.

I left them at the front desk-

with- name (of person on the reservation)
check in date
reservation number
hotel
Our wedding name/date

everyone got them

We left ours at the front desk at each resort.

One of our attendants is a Disney CM and used to work concierge services at a couple of the resorts. He said that it is EXCEPTIONALLY rare that Disney loses something like this. He told us to trust that it would work, and it did. Everyone got their welcome bags, and loved them.

I used those "Print your own name-tags" that have the pastic sleeve and you print the card and slide it into the sleeve with the pin on the back. I used those to pin the bags closed at the top.

On the card, I listed the guest name, resort (more for us to sort bags than for them), confirmation number, arrival date, and "If the bag cannot be delivered please contact Rob ___ at (cell phone number).

It worked beautifully.

The tag on the right hand side was stamped Thank you & I wrote all the info on the other side-Name, check in date & reservation number. It really wasn't that big of a tag.
