Weirdness booking AOA

Good afternoon,

I ran into something kind of funny today. I was trying to book AOA LM room for a 7 night stay and the Disney search engine says no rooms are available. However, if I try to book two back-to-back stays covering the same dates, it lets me do that.

So for example, I want to check in Monday and out on Monday; it says no. But if I try to book Mon-Wed and then Wed-Mon, it's fine. Is this normal? I've not seen it at other resorts. Should I just go ahead and book two back-to-back stays?

Travel dates are inside the 180 day window, so I'm not concerned about it from that perspective.

Call in, explain the problem you're having, and ask the CM to help you book it as one reservation. If that CM claims to be unable to, thank them, hang up, then call back to talk to another CM. They can make it happen-I've had CMs help me book a continuous reservation in this circumstance before. The Disney resort booking website uses various algorithms to try to guarantee certain lengths of stay at certain times. It's unofficial & it can be overriden by management when you call in. It took 10-20 minutes of waiting on the phone while they sorted it out on their end the time I called in for this.
