weirdest compliment youve ever received?

I was wearing sandals and was told I had pretty feet.

(WHY are you looking at my feet?)

One time I made my hair a rich red color and someone I worked with said "Whoa! Your hair is REALLY red!" I think it was supposed to be a compliment!

Jeez, if you think its TOO RED, just say it!

And I have heard , "You lost weight! Your butt is not as big as it was."

They should of just stopped at "You lost weight!"

Well, Saturday night I got called down from across Beale St.

"HEY SNOWFLAKE, WHERE YOU GOIN WITH ALL THAT?!? COME HOLLA!!"

Pretty sure if he was referring to my backside, but that seems to be the most popular attraction at my personal theme park.

When I was in high school I was VERY thin, but still packed a bit of junk in the trunk and one day at an awards ceremony, my best friend's mother said to him, 'You know, Misty is so thin, but she's got a bubble booty." This was before J.Lo and Beyonce rose to fame, so I was very self conscious.

I have always been kind of tall and skinny!

When I was expecting last child, I thought I was huge(I did put on an extra 40 pounds with her). A guy friend who comes into our shop heard me complaining one day about how fat I was was.

In his effort to make me feel better, he said "You are not fat, you look like a string with a knot tied in it!"

After thinking about it for a minute, I realized it was somewhat of a compliment!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, just last week after I got home from having my hair done DH said "Wow, it actually looks good". Ummmm, thanks!

The other day I was bored and decided to do something new with my hair. I twisted it up in an intricate manner and was pleased at the results.

DH got home, took one look at me and beamed brightly. Conversation:

DH: Did you do something to your hair?

me (coyly): yes

DH: Are you trying to be silly?

me: erm....


So much for my "intricate" hairdo.

When I told my (ex-friend) that I got engaged, she said to me "congratulations, I never thought this would happen to you before me" Maybe that's one of the reasons she's and ex-friend now!!
