Weird storm passing through

I was just outside. There is lightening off in the distance (over the river?) but for the most part cannot see the "bolts", just flashes in the sky. There is a huge cloud over the house which is more RED than gray . It is just starting to rain. I love watching storms.

Me too. I always stand in our cornfield watching the lightning. Not the brightest idea -- I know!

From the size of the storm that just rolled through here, you probably saw our lightning!

Here in CA, any weather that is not totally normal is called "earthquake weather" so I hope all your valuables are secure.
