Weird split stay

We booked a stay through Undercover Tourist at the Coronado Springs and BC resorts for mid-May. We originally scheduled our flights so we'd arrive early afternoon our first day. Well, I was looking at flights yesterday and saw we could go dirt cheap the night before, room included (giving us a completely full day on Wednesday). So, we have one reservation with UT for our Wed-Sat/Sat-Mon stays at CS and BC. It turned out to be cheaper to book a separate reservation for that additional Tuesday night, so that's what we did. Right now, our reservations have us checking in to CS Tuesday, checking out Wednesday, then checking back in that same day. Complicated and kind of a hassle, I know, but it saved us money.

My question is: do you imagine we'll get to keep the room we're given the first night (Tuesday) for the duration of our stay? Or will they move us when we check out/check in on Wednesday? I love to unpack as soon as we get there as a sort of "we're finally here!" ritual, so I'm wondering if that's even worth it or if we should just expect to just sleep there then move.

I know there are guarantees but I thought maybe someone on here has done something similar!

We have added days last minute several times and have not had to move rooms. Not sure if we were just lucky?
As you said there are no guarantees and you may have to move, but hopefully not! Good luck!

For Coronado it's just a standard view room. I might call and put in some requests but that's it.

Ask when you are checking in. There are no guarantees and only put request if those are more important to you than staying in the same room.

Good idea. I'll just mention it when I call with other requests/questions. Thanks everyone!

If you booked the same room category for both CSR reservations, you can call and have the 2 reservations linked, adding a request to keep the same room (UT might have to do it since they are the TA). When you check in for the first reservation, tell the CM you have a continuing reservation and would like to stay in the same room if possible. It's not guaranteed you won't have to move, but Disney will do everything they can to keep you in the same room :).

Oh great! That's a good idea. I didn't think to have them linked... I'm going to give that a shot. Thank you!! :)

I'm doing the same thing. Call and put a room request on the 2 CS reservations and ask for "continuing reservations"

I've done this, and had the 2 reservations linked as a continuing reservation, and at check in I went to the desk and let them know I'd like to keep same room. I was able to. You still have to check out the next morning and check in, but was able to keep room.
I didn't unpack until the next morning when I was certain we could keep the room.
