Weird, somewhat pointless question.

What to bring?

  • 2 smaller suitcases

  • barrow 1 bigger one

I know this may seem trivial or weird, pick your word but I just was wondering what the rest of you thought. The only suit case I have is a 21" pullman which technically classifies as a carryon. I did a packing test and can't fit 11 days into that suitcase (We are doing Seaworld and Universal before and after). What would you all do? Bring 2 "Carryon" sized suit cases (Its all I have) or barrow a bigger one. By the way I don't tend to over pack, when I was in California I ended up buying a jacket because I was underpacked! Also we have all transfers through Tiffany and will be letting DCL handel everything other than our actual Carryons. And Since Tuition is due right before we go I won't have a lot of money to buy a bigger one.
Thanks for the help.

I would borrow the bigger one - less to keep up with, less stress packing, easier to walk with at the airport, disembarking, and at luggage pickup.

Have fun!

Not trivial at all since most airlines now only allow you a 50 lb. max per bag....they charge for overage.

I would now take two smaller ones than one large one. Of course if you do not have to worry about flying, then I would take only one larger bag!!!

We took the larger ones last time. Even though they are heavier they seem to hold more. Took the smaller one with pop and snacks so coming back it was empty and able to hold the things we bought, just used the bubble paper that I had around the pop to pack things.

I would bring 2 smaller ones if it meant you can carry each of them on the plane.

Not many like to do this, but there is always the laundry room if you need it!

I voted for the two smaller ones. There just isn't good space in the rooms (cat. 11 & 10) for a big suitcase. Be sure to mark each one with the same color ribbon!

I would take the two smaller ones, I feel that you could weigh them out better when your carrying them, One in each hand...:)

Now~ that you have all these different opinions, lol, let us know what YOU are going to do, *smile*

Have fun!! :hyper:

Hi!

First of all thank for all the opinions, they really do help!

Second, please continue to add to the poll or suggestions, I can never get too many suggestions and I don't leave until January!

Last, I think (unless swayed by you folks) I will be taking 2 smaller suitcases. We are staying in the Navigators Verandah room (I can never remember if this is 6 or 7) and there is only 2 of us so room really isn't much of an issue. My big point is that if I barrow I have to worry about damage to someone elses luggage ( I just recently had a suitcase ruined flying to Florida) and having to unpack more quickly than I usually do. (Spring semester begins Jan 12 and I get home Jan 11)

Thanks again! and post if you have more opinions!

If they are the rolling type, you should go with the larger one. It is a pain in the you-know-what to roll two! I speak from experience!
