Weird Question

I was one of the people that have had their peanut butter confiscated at security. I didn't think anything of packing it in our carry on from Orlando seeing how it was sealed. It didn't matter since they took it and threw it away. I said it's sealed........the least you could do is have lunch with it instead of just throwing it away!

Maybe try a plastic bottle of jelly - I know that the squeezable containers are all plastic. You can also purchase JIF peanut butter in single serving containers (it comes in a pack of six, like apple sauce) and wrap everything in ziplocs. It should be ok in the luggage (we do ziplocs, then wrap everything up in a trash bag labeled with permanent marker - peanut butter and jelly, etc).

Well, I'm here at WDW, and all items made it without breaking in my suitcase. Yay! I wrapped the jelly jars in protective wrapping I had at my house (but newspaper would do fine) and then put them in large Ziplock baggies. The jars of peanut butter were plastic, so no problem there. Security did go through my luggage--they left a little note saying that they had--but they didn't take anything. Success!
