Weird question: shirts from other years

So... I have this vast array of shirts from the past few years. Some are PERFECT still EXCEPT I put the year on them...
Any hints for making them wearable THIS year ? The only two options I can see are:
1) trying to iron on just the year 2012 over 2011 (or whatever year)
2) using a marker scared1:gak!) to change the 0 or 1 into a 2...

I can't assist with changing year but this does point out why it might be best NOT to put a year on a shirt. Autograph books, welcome letters, invitations YES but not shirts!

I agree with Marion. A year on something usually mean you want to commemorate that year. You can either wear the shirt and remember that visit or have a new one made each year. I wouldn't use a marker or iron on over it. JMO
