Weird Magical Express question...

My friend and I will be in WDW for 11 days in May. We have a friend who'd like to join us for the weekend. I know we can add her on to the hotel room at the front desk, but what I'm wondering is if she can use DME? I've heard of people having different departure dates, but I'm not sure about arrival.
My travel agent wasn't sure, but she suggested we tell the front desk about her the day we get there, then try to call Magical Express directly to set it up. We'll get there on a Monday and she'll arrive on Thursday.
Has anyone tried this or know if it's possible?

Yes as long as she is on the room reservation and has an advance DME reservation she can ride. Any wdw resort guest can use DME as long as it is during the reservation time, (not the day before or after for example).

As soon as she is added to your room reservation you do need to call DME to make the DME reservation.
