Weird happening/horrible date

Ok, here's mine. I was recently divorced and, it appears, a bit crabby. There was a new employee at work one day and my boss asked me who he was (not in our dept. so the boss didn't know). I replied "I have no idea but he's the weirdest person I have ever met!" (I had determined this after approximately 2 minutes of conversation with said new empoyee.) Two years later we were married and we've now been together 16 years. People actually showed up at our wedding to remind me of what I had said. LOL

P.S.
I still think he's a little weird.:rotfl:

I'm sorry your date was awful. But if this happened to me I would bust out laughing so hard lol!

Sorry you had a bad date, but, don't let people (inc. family) get you down. Enjoy looking forward to your next trip to Disney!

You should go back, and ask the guy handing out the ck samples out on a date!
;)

I was thinking the exact same thing.

I know everyone in a relationship says this, and you never believe it until it happens to you. ... I was ready to go gallivanting around the world right before I met Mike,

Yep! I didn't believe it at all until I started dating my DW -- then, I got a bit terrified by how certain I was and how quickly.

(I had actually just applied for a couple of jobs in Scandinavia when my DW and I started dating...I didn't go either.)

Since we're all sharing...

A few years ago I was at Neiman Marcus with my partner just walking through to get to the mall. We stopped momentarly and the CK guy pounced on me. It was strange. He struck up a conversation about the anhk I wore around my neck. He then flamed out became very touchy feely and had hold of my arm. Several minutes passed and he would not let go. So at this point my parnter is getting jelous and I am a little scared. I decided to not make any sudden moves in case the CK guy became startled and decided to yank my arm off and run with it. After a while, I was able to break free and we ran for it, not looking back. Needly to say we didn't return that way.

ok - this has nothing to do with anyone else's story... except maybe CK guys and My partner and I have been together 17 years and I had no idea he was the "one" either.

Want to hear a story?

Once upon a time...
I was new in town and wasn't meeting many people. So I joined a dating service. :scared1: This was back in the olden days, when dating services were located in a brick and mortar building - not online. It cost a fortune, too. I had to pay to have photos taken, pay a membership fee, blah blah blah. Total scam.

I had VERY specific likes/dislikes and I wasn't open to meeting anyone who did not EXACTLY meet those specifications. If I had it to do over again I would meet EVERYONE who wanted to meet me, just to make new friends.

I think I went out with 4 people. They were all fine. Nothing spectacular, but fine.

But those membership fees were HIGH, and the contract was iron clad. There was NO WAY to get out of it. I decided to get a second job working the 8 PM - Midnight shift at the grocery store for extra money. The cashier supervisor was kind of a jerk when I asked about submitting an application, but whatever. The store manager hired me and he was really nice about working with the schedule from my full-time job.

Well, that jerk of a cashier supervisor and I started dating. Then I married him. The 19th anniversary of our first date was this month. ;)

In a round-about way that stupid dating service did help me meet my spouse. :rotfl2: You never know.

Haha I love that story :) It's so... different :rotfl:

Hello all, christmas was fine just talked up my trip to WDW for NYE and my hope to travel to Paris next year too. Nobody brought up my "personal" life or anything and it was quite obvious my cousin's bf is not used to being around gay guys because he constantly kept putting his foot in his mouth all night. I'd just roll my eyes and my mom would look at me with the "don't start anything" look lol. It's ok though I told my cousin I was glad that he (her bf) wore those jeans 'cause his butt looked AMAZING that kinda shut him up!!! ;)
