Okay, we have an ADR for Garden Grill. However, when I saw the pictures of the food, I kind of had a freak out. I have this weird thing where I don't eat food that touches each other. Does anybody know if they would put the meat on a separate plate from the rest of the food? TIA!

The food all comes out on a large platter (except for the salad and bread). If I remember correctly, the steak and potatoes are grouped together, the turkey, dressing & cranberries are grouped together, and the fish and veggies are grouped together. There is space between those three groups, but the food is touching within each group (e.g. the turkey is sitting on top of the dressing).

I hope that helps.

I think if you mention it when you sit down, you could probably get them served separately, but it might be tough for them to fit that many plates on the table. When we got extras of items they were brought out on their own plates, so they should be able to do this for all of the items. However, I'd expect to wait a bit longer for your food, and the server may have to make multiple trips or enlist help in delivering them.

My fiance and I just went to garden grill in January. The food does all come out on one platter. The salad, rolls, and dessert are served separate. I did a dining report and posted pictures if you wanted a better idea of how it looks. It is a fantastic restaurant and character experience, and I don't think it would be too much of a problem for them to put the food on separate plates. When we asked for more steak and potatoes, they brought that out separately...not the whole big platter again!

I hope this helps!

I dont eat read meat, I asked them to put the beef on a seperate platter and they did without hesitation

Whew! I don't need everything on a separate plate, like the meat touching is okay, but the whole thought of meat on top of potatoes seriously made me ill. I was going to try for DH, but I wouldn't want to vomit in the middle of the restaurant! Thanks!
