Weird Development on Resort Reservation

I got a call from Disney during which the CM said they needed to verify some information on the reservation. Suspecting foul play, I said I'd have to call them back.....and I hung up... waited about 20 minutes, and called back at the regular reservation number.

Sure enough, they needed to verify my kids ages and my length of stay. Makes no sense.... the reservation is paid in full, etc. I asked whether there was a problem, and they said, no no no, but that they were doing an inventory check and needed to verify the information.

I started wondering what this was all about.... like a big convention coming in or something and so, next day, I called back and asked whether there was something going on at the resort or something. They said no... there is the flower festival or something like that going on or something like that.

Anyway... thought it was weird.

Always makes me wonder why they ask my kids ages, when they already know the answer. I imagine their computer had different ages for someone in your party or you were flagged for a random verification.
