weight restriction question?

One other case: The water sprites. I know they've made them more powerful, but there is still an issue of weight: The more weight in the water sprite, the slower it goes.

Normally we would have, but there was a little boy riding alone, so she put us both in there. I think it spins better with more weight (and he seemed a bit scared, so she may have wanted him to not be alone)

And last time we went we were smaller and it didn't make so much difference. So we didn't think to ask.

husband & i had the same situation so poor little kid got squashed but we spun around like crazy :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

the only one i've ever had a problem with is space mt and i think that is more a bendability factor of my knees ..very hard to get in and out ... but pooh and i are compadres so i am mentioning it just in case

I've traveled with a lot of Pooh sized friends and family, and been Pooh sized myself. A lot of it depends on how you carry your weight. If you carry a lot of weight through the chest and shoulder area, some of the roller coasters with over the head/shoulder restraints can be a problem. If you carry a lot of weight in the hips and rear, rides like the Astro Orbiter can present a problem. If you carry a lot of weight in the waist and stomach, lap bars like Thunder Mountain can sometimes be a challenge. If you carry the weight more evenly over the entire body, then you're in the best position to enjoy the most rides. So long as the safety equipment can do it's job, whether a belt or a bar, you're good to ride at pretty much any weight.

The other suggestion I have is for comfort...watch how they are loading rides (such as Small World and Movie ride) depending who you are traveling with, you may want to add 1 person to your party when you tell them how many. I have noticed that some CMs know it is x per row, they don't look to see who is 90 pounds and who is 200+ sometimes making for a tight squeeze. JMHO

The only problem we had on any ride was Primeval Whirl. Ouch!

Oh yeah! I had bruises on my bruises after Primeval Whirl. But I'm riding it again this time ( SUNDAY! YEAH!) anyway....it's kind of a "laugh hysterically" "yell OW!" "laugh hysterically" "yell OW!" kind of ride. :joker:

I'm so horrified about the plane ride Saturday morning - those seats are tight - I never thought about rides at Disney. I'm so glad someone posted this and there are so many good responses.
Now, just pray the seat belt stretches on the plane :)
