Do you weigh in daily or once a week or on another schedule? Why do you do it that way? Which do you think it better? Why?
 
I weigh myself once a week. I have tried once a day, once a week and once a month and for me once a week works out better. When I used to weigh myself once a day I found that I never had an accurate weight because of the flucuations due to fluid retention. I also didn't like once a month because it just seemed too long to wait!
 
I do once a week. It keeps me on track, but I don't stress about daily differences. I've read in my fitness mags that it is important to weigh yourself regularly, you just need to find what works for you.
 

I voted "other" because I really do try to only weigh in once a week, but usually my curiosity gets the best of me and I weigh myself 2-3 times during the week. But the one that "counts" is only once a week.
 
I voted every day, but I probably should have voted other. I weigh every day at home first thing in the morning. (hey, I eat every day, I weigh every day!)

This really helps keep me focused on the scale continually going down. I know if it's up at all, I have to "be better" that day, more strict with myself, eat healthy foods, skip the splurge that day, or make sure I get to the gym, etc. It really works for me, and I hate when I can't weigh every morning. Dh does it too.

I also weigh at WW once a week, and that's my "official" weight though. I really like and need that too. Weighing every day doesn't give you the "big" numbers to focus on for the long term weight loss. It gives me a weekly goal to achieve, (1-2 pound losses) beyond my daily goal of not seeing the scale go up (significantly, or more than a pound).
 
I weigh myself usually once a week but I also weigh myself before I go out to eat or go to any social function where food is involved. It helps keep me focused on my goal.

Me, too! If I let myself weigh daily, I'll start weighing multiple times within a day and getting all weird... you don't want me to get weird.
 
I weigh once in the morning. I consider it my accountability partner. But I only count my Sunday morning weigh in as official.
 
I weigh myself daily, but I only count it "officially" once a week.
 
I'm another perpetual daily weigher, I check in to see which direction the scale is heading, but only count the weekly weigh in as official.
