For anyone who has used this service, do you order before you go? I don't have a laptop :sad2: If you pre-order to have them delived when you arrive, how much time do you allow for getting to the resort and checkin? We arrive at MCO at 7:30 PM. :goodvibes
Thanks!

We are planning on using them for our trip in October, so I am interested in any information as well!

:flower: Ok...I am going in May and I have made arrangements for them to shop for us. We have a late flight and they deliver until 9:00pm. So, I have asked them to shoot for 9:00 and if we are there, great. If not, they will leave them with the front desk. I called WL to be sure they had a fridge and that the milk and perishables will not be left out. I will also call WL the day we leave to confirm that, but they said quite a few people do that and they have no trouble with it.
As far as paying, I told them I prefered to pay directly if we are there. If we are late in arriving, you have to give wegoshop your credit acct. number (they sent me a form to fill out via email) and I filled in the info. I have to admit, I felt a little nervous about giving my acct. # over the net. But I guess people do it. I have not filled out my shopping list yet since we don't leave for 3 weeks.
for 15.00 per service, it sounds like a good deal to me!
As far as how much time to plan for, I was told about 1.5-2.0 hours without any delays.

We were just at WL April 14 -23rd. We landed at MCO around 2:10. We scheduled our delivery for 4:00. She was right on time. She called from the lobby just as the bellman was leaving from bringing us to the room. the service was great. I would use them again in a heartbeat. It was great not to have to stop at the store!

Glad to hear about your postive experience! We are planning to use wegoshop for our trip in June. Our flight arrives at 3:30pm, using ME and I'm planning to have things delivered at 6pm. I think they will be right on time or at least am hoping so since we have an 8pm PS at LTT. I agree that the $15 service fee is reasonable...right now...or at least the last time I checked their site, they were offering a 50% discount for first time clients. I figure it's worth the price just to not have to shop for ourselves. I would love to hear more first hand experience stories!!

We used them on Easter sunday...they were great. They said delivery would be at about 4pm...called at about 3:45pm to say they were leaving there previous stop and would be there shortly...arrived at 4:05. I paid by cc in the room they have a great gadget attached to there cell phone. They got everything right and were very friendly. I will definately use the service again.

I think if you read the fine print that the 1/2 off 1st timers insn't available in the resort area, that being said it is still a great deal, we plan on buying with them in Dec. :flower:

Yes, we found that this offer was for locals only, and that makes sense -- it's a way to get new long-term customers.

We used them in March. She (name escapes me!) delivered to our pool home. She was very prompt, especially since she made a delivery on an early Sunday morning outside of noraml delivery hours. I did make up a list and emailed it.

This was a big shopping -- over $200 -- because we were staying in a pool home and it was a 10 day trip.

I think next time, I'll go back to doing my own shopping, just because there are many small judgments one makes in the market which a stranger can't be expected to make, not knowing your family.

But I would recommend the service, absolutely.

We used this service back in November for our group of 13. It was wonderful and saved us many headaches. We could have used our grocery store shop provided by our towncar service however.. we were told only one person is allowed to go into the store, and you must be in your seat and buckled so that at exactly 30 minutes the driver can leave. Well for our situation (we had 4 sets of family) it would have been too much of a headache to figure out who is doing the shopping for all the family and to be back in time.. what if there is a line? So we opted to use We Go Shop.. and LOVED IT! I'll use it every time. I certainly don't want to worry about groceries while I'm on vacation.. and they deliver to your room. CANT BEAT THAT!

We are headed to WL for our first family trip to WDW the third week in July. DH & I have two DDs 6 & 8. Our plane arrives at 11:19 a.m. and we have Magic Express. I am sure that the transportation provided to us from the airport to WL will not stop for groceries. With this in mind we were thinking of using a shopping service either We Go Shop or Goodings. Goodings charges $10 service fee and has a $50 minimum order. They have a list for you to select from but I have emailed questions to them and they have stated that they are a full service supermarket and can provide just about anything you would find in a regular supermarket. We plan on getting waters (I am a non-carbonated fruit water fan), some snacks including cucumbers and green peppers which my youngest loves. I will also need a vegetable peeler and small knife (knowing these would definately not be allowed on a plane). We are on the MYW dining plan so we just want a few things to fill in as snacks and such. Also thinking two other options could be getting a taxi ourselves and going to the store or to upgrade to concierge for snacks and occasional adult beverages. Any and all thoughts are welcomed!!

So, even in checked luggage one cannot fly with these items.??

Zurgswife: I was happy to see that you had delivery on Easter. I've emailed wegoshop about a deliver on Thanksgiving Day but I haven't heard back from them yet. We will arrive around noon so it would be nice to "meet" them there early afternoon but we could wait until Fri a.m. if necessary. The other problem is whether they are able to purchase alcohol on the holiday even if the stores are open. I'm from MA and there is no way anything is open on the holiday, never mind being able to purchase beer/wine/alcohol. They have just recently allowed sales on Sundays, lol. I'm hoping wegoshop will soon answer my email from more than a week ago. :confused3

I wasn't even going to try it! We haven't flown in 10 years and am nervous enough about flying already. I didn't want to cause any problems in the security areas and didn't even ask the question!

We flew with a corkscrew and scissors in our checked bags. You just can't have them in your carry-on. There are plastic knives at Roaring Forks. They picked up wine and vodka for us, but it was a Thursday. I don't know what the day and time laws are for alcohol sales in Florida. I learned about them here and was not sure what to expect, but we were very happy. We can't go back until spring of 2007 because of school vacation times, but I will definately use them again!

Oh, that may be....I had clicked on the link for the WDW resorts and I thought it was there...it's been a couple of weeks and the way my life has been I could easily be wrong...but I still think the fee is nominal considering I don't have to shop. I'll be sure to check before I send them my order though. Thanks for the info!
