Hello!
We used Wegoshop for our last trip and overall had a positive experience...I did book the service about a week ahead of time...I didn't realize that it is ideal to book her several weeks out. Last time I had her shop at Publix. I have heard that she will also shop at Sams/Costco...We are Costco members...not Sams. I know she charges a small fee to shop at more than one store...do you think it is worth it? I know there are some items thay may be a little cheeper at Sams/Costco....like we LOVE LOVE LOVE greek yogurt and at Costco it turns out to be less than a $1 a container....produce may be a little cheaper...bottled water..yadda yadda...

we will have a car..so we could do the shopping ourselves...but we won't be arriving until late..too late for shopping and I don't want to have to waste our first full day at Disney at the grocery store with 2 kids!

Also, for those that have used Wegoshop...how exact are you on what you want? she mentioned last time that she does shop sales....like for instance if I want a loaf of wheat bread...6 weeks ahead of time I am not going to know what is on sale...do you just give a certain brand and have her buy it whether or not on sale? I guess that is a chance I'm going to have to take...but just curious how exact I must be while making out a list! :)

Thank you!

I'm only exact on things that I'll buy at any price and then I give guidelines for the rest and sometimes I'll say only buy xyz produce if it's less than $x/lb. Or say I only want this exact product if it's below $x, if it's over then just get abc item.

That's why I like them, because I can tailor our groceries so easily.

I would have them shop at 2 stores if the savings was going to be worthwhile. It wouldn't be worth it for just a couple dollars.

We have used them twice. Both times, they stick with the brand you specify, if you specify a brand.

If you don't specify a brand, they get whatever is cheapest.

They shopped for me once at Publix and once at Walmart. In the middle of summer they really steered me away from Walmart but then last month we used Walmart and I thought it was totally fine.

I don't know if I would have them go 2 places: it's vacation! Just go with what they get you for a week. :)

Thank you. Good to know that you don't have to be exact and you can still get a good deal:cool1:. I contacted Wegoshop and Amy replied asking for my phone number so she can answer my questions.

I went onto Sams club website and what is nice is that you can view what they sell and their prices:thumbsup2. Sams seems to have several "heat and serve" meals that look really yummy as well as items in their freezer section too! But there are some items that they do not carry and we would have to have her go somewhere like Publix...for instance my son loooves the portable yogurts..but he can't have any with an artificial dye...so we have to buy the SIMPLY ones....and they are not available at Sams...they are at Costco...but I am not sure if she shops there.

I am also wondering if she would be willing to pick up a party sub/sandwich ring at Sams club for us. We could easily eat one within 2 days or so and it would make sandwiches super easy!
