Wegoshop and Tipping Around the World

I'm planning on using Wegoshop on our upcoming trip in a few weeks. Can anyone tell me what the tipping protcol is?

While we're at it, for other things around the world (aside from waitstaff) who and where and what does one tip for what?

Haven't used wegoshop yet. But to answer your second question, we tip roughly a dollar a bag, and round up to the nearest $5 increment once we get to 4 or 8 bags...and sometimes add even more if the bellhop is efficient and social.

For mousekeeping at the villas, we generally leave $5 for a 1 br. I also straighten up the place before they get there, so it is in neat condition so the people can just get to their job.

Oh, and bartenders -- dollar a drink. Can't forget the very important people helping me enjoy my vacation!!!!

Good Choice using wegoshop.com One of the smartest things we did on our vacation....great service, time saver and sooo convienent.

We tip the usual positions and we also tip mousekeeping ...... like Nono straighten up the place before they get there.

we did tip wegoshop. they delivered almost exactly when they said they would. go a bit confused with the SS setup. very nice and polite people who delivered. they explained everything on the bill and made sure we were satisfied. their bill i believe had a place for a tip but the woman said it is always appreciated but it is not necessary. i had palnned on tipping her anyway. will definitly use them again


as for tipping around the world if you give us good service i will take good care of you.

We tip $1 per bag. The mousekeeping I recently asked about myself, so I'm not much help there.
We haven't used Wegoshop, but are so glad you asked these questions. I have one regarding Wegoshop. Do they tell you a time frame that they will deliver, Or do you tell them when is best for you?

We used wegoshop in July. They give you a time and tell you there is a 15 minute window for delivery. Our groceries were delivered about 10 minutes early.

We asked what the customary tip is and the wegoshop guy told us 10%.
