Topic: Why did you take a picture of that?

We've all done it. Take a picture of something at Disney and then wondered later (or were questioned by our significant other) why in the world we took it. Maybe we cant even identify it after the fact.

Remember: Pictures should be as original as possible with minimal editing. This is a photography contest, not a photo editing contest. Please post your entry by midnight Sunday, July 20, 2008 to ensure it will be included in voting.

This is my daughter and her fiance' sitting in the UK garden. She bought a new pair of shoes during the trip and wore them until her feet hurt (not my side of the family) Scott graciously wore them for her the rest of the day to stretch them out. I told him he was spoiling her, but oh well.

As I had stopped to take some pictures of the Cinderella wishing well on the walkway between the castle and Tomorrowland, a family walking by commented "what is she taking a picture of that for??" ... this is what I was taking a picture of ...

As I had stopped to take some pictures of the Cinderella wishing well on the walkway between the castle and Tomorrowland, a family walking by commented "what is she taking a picture of that for??" ... this is what I was taking a picture of ...

they must not "get" Disney... I have pictures of that too! Nice shot!

Why? We are big fans of the TV show "How I Met Your Mother". In one episode they are in Philadelphia and a couple of them lick the Liberty Bell because they didn't think anyone had ever done it before. Later one of them is hitting on a girl and says, "You know what it tastes like? Freedom. No, seriously, it tastes like pennies."

And no, we didn't lick the bell, it is forced perspective. This shot taken by DW of me, and I took one of her, but her shot has a better background, so hers wins the posting here today.

This is a close up of the board at Epcot that updates you with the wait times for rides... My daughter was so excited when she looked closely and said, "HIDDEN MICKEYS! Mom take a picture!" So I obliged. I'm sure some thought I was very strange - and my husband wondered what it was of when he flipped through them later (I guess he wasn't standing close to us) - LOL

Polkadotladybug.. thanks for showing that.. I have never had to be over by there. I mean, I have read it as I pass, mainly when close by Innovations when going toward the pass to get to the Land and Seas etc.

And before someone posts it, I also have (on film not digital so I can't post it) the porta potty at EPCOT with TILE on the walls.

Sorry, but unique bathrooms facinate me for some strange reason.

are you sure he was sleeping??? those glasses could be deceiving
