Good Morning WISHers!! How are you doing this week? Hope that everyone has been successful in their goals for the week. ::yes:: Did you lose, maintain, gain? We want to hear about it! :listen: We're all hear to support you so tell us how did you do......?

As for me I'm down .8 lb this week. ::yes:: I was happy with that as I feel the bloat fairy may be hanging around! After weeks of maintaining just seeing the scales go down again is encouraging. :teeth:

Have a great week everyone!!

Last week, I almost had kittens when I found out I was up 5 pounds!

I dropped 4 of it this week, and am perfectly happy with that. I'm at 187, which is right where I want to be, so I'm attempting another week at maintenance. Here's hoping!

Down 4 pounds! Yeah!

I know a lot of it was water weight from just getting back on track and drinking lots of water, but I'll take it!

I haven't checked in for ages but I'm recommiting! I've been at WDW for 2 weeks and came home the same weight - I'm calling that a success! I'm back on plan and starting my training for the half marathon so I'm hoping the scale will cooperate.

This is my first check in since getting back with the program. I'm proud to report that I'm down 4.8 lbs. since last week. Only .2 to go to reclaim my 5 lb clippie!

Some great success stories here! ::yes::

I'm dwindling down, slowly now, it seems. Only 1 pound lost this week, but better than +!! ;)

47.5 pounds LOST since joining WISH, and WW, and exercising. :jumping3: For that, I'm very HAPPY! :teeth:

:drinking: :drinking: Oh, and LOTS of H2o also!!! :sunny:

Hello, everyone! I'm happy to see that the check-in thread is alive and well - maybe we can motivate more WISHers to post each week! :teeth: Anyway, I'm excited to report that I've made 3 pounds disappear this week - so it's time for another round of the CLIPPIE DANCE! :hyper: I'm only 1 pound away from my Independence Day goal, 11 pounds to my next 10% goal, and 14 tiny pounds away from going GREEN. Yippee!

This was a pretty good week, eating-wise. I gave in to temptation a couple of times, when cake and ice cream showed up in my office for a retiree's party. At least I only had one small piece. It didn't even taste that good. I did really great at dinner on Saturday, though - my shrimp and chicken fajitas at Chevy's were fabulous, and I managed to stop myself from finishing the last one when I realized I was full - I actually put it down! It feels like making healthy and balanced choices has finally become ingrained - I still need to think about what I'm eating, but I always remember to think about it. Make sense? ;)

The big highlights of this week were getting my hair cut and shopping! For the first time in 9 years, I have just above shoulder length (with shorter layers) hair! I'm still getting used to the change, but it looks cute - and my face looks so much smaller and longer. And I bought clothes at not one but TWO regular-size stores! I picked up some running pants in XL at Lucy (workout clothes store), and a cute tank/shorts silk PJ outfit in XL... from the GAP! I think I'm about a 16W right now, so I'm just on the edge of making the big jump to regular-size stores full time. I even tried on a sheath dress (size 16) in a fancy-schmancy boutique - and it almost zipped! :p

Keep up the good work, one and all! Onwards and downwards... :sunny:

Another WISH returnee here!

My first check-in since starting my program again one week ago and jumping back on the WISH bandwagon!

I've lost 2.5 pounds. I think it could've been more, but TOM is coming to visit very soon, so I think that might have something to do with it. However, I am very pleased that I have lost pounds, and I measured myself this morning and noticed some lost inches too, which is even more important since my clothes were starting to get snug!

I followed the eating portion of my plan almost perfectly with no cheating (well, except one day I had to eat a spoon of peanut butter because I had the hiccups and couldn't get rid of them -- peanut butter works!!!).

My goal is to improve my exercise by walking more. I wear a pedometer and my goal is 10,000 steps per day, but I've only been hitting about 5,000.

I'm having a slow week...only 1 pound. This always happens to me before my period, and it gets me down every time. I always think I'm not losing, but then after my period comes, I lose several pounds quickly. Even knowing that it WILL come off, it still plays mental games with me. I keep thinking, "I'm eating only 800 calories a day, how can I only lose 1 pounds in seven days????" And I start to feel discouraged. I think what I need to do is simply not weigh in at all the ten days before I'm due. Anybody else have this problem?

I haven't lost anything this week. I think that now that I'm in a healthy BMI range, the weight loss is starting to slow down, oh well, I know that if I stay OP and keep up the exercise regime it will come off eventually.

Dakota_Lynn I don't know whether "I'm eating only 800 calories a day" is a typo or not. If it isn't the number of calories that you are consuming a day is dangerously low. Your body could well be losing muscle (including cardiac muscle). Hopefully your are doing this under medical advise. Doctors usually recommend that you don't go under 1200 calories a day. Just my 2 cents worth, I wouldn't want you to get ill! ::yes::

Thank you for the advice. Honestly, I didn't occur to me that it could be unhealthy. I see my doctor in a few weeks and I'll make sure I discuss it with her and ask her what a healthy amount would be. I just want to lose weight fast, but I certainly don't want to get sick doing it. I have a 13 year old daughter. I need to be healthy for her sake, which is the main reason I started my diet to begin with. I do eat very healthy stuff, but yes, I do try to stay at 800 calories. More often than not, I hit 900 or even 1000. I admit, I don't know a lot about dieting. The last thing I want to do is create more health problems. Thank you for your suggestion. I will talk to a doctor about this.

And congratulations on YOUR weight loss. WELL DONE! :Pinkbounc

Hi everyone!:wave2:
I didn't check in last week, but I lost 1/2 a pound then and I lost 1/2 a pound this week. I am so glad to finally be getting of the up, down, maintain rollercoaster.

Dakota_Lynn,
I just want to echo catherine and say please talk to your doctor about your calorie level. I have read many books on weightloss and in every one of them it tells you "Do not go below 1200 calories" I believe this could be very unhealthy for you. And we all want you to be healthy for you DD!:D
