Weekends vs Weekdays in summer

The parks might get a bit busy with lot's of people if especially if one park is fully booked sometimes it can be weekdays and weekends.
If travelling with children I'd recommend getting them apple airtags, backpack with leash or wrist leash just to prevent them going missing in the crowds.
I recommend getting the genie plus because it's easier especially for popular rides.

Our Trip is Thursday-Sunday June 22nd-25th

We will also be back on Saturday July 1st.

Those sound like pretty good dates to me. It is after the annual passes are blocked, so you aren't hitting people trying to get their last trip to the park before the block, and it is also after grad nights are over. You never know for sure what you are going to get, but those are dates I would gamble on and pick.

We're going either June 27-July 2, or July 5-8. But now I'm considering changing to a Thur-Sun trip.

I can't recall having been that close to the 4th of July, so someone who goes in that time frame would have a better idea. I know when we have been later in July, the weekends have been the best days, but I also know that on the whole our July trips have been less crowded on the weekdays than when we have been in June and hit any of those last days before the passes are blocked. Those June dates right before the passes are blocked have always been the absolute most crowded summer days for us, and you will miss that either way.

Can we please have those going in July to revisit this thread and give what the crowds and experiences were actually like? We figure our next trip to DLR will be in 2024 when Tiana's opens. We normally go in early June but may delay till end of June or early July so interested how the crowds are then.

I also accidentally went once on the last day of the ticket offer it was the craziest I've even seen DL hands down. This was pre-covid and prior to park reservations though.

Same. I think it was in 2019 for us. NEVER AGAIN!!!

I just want to go to Pacific Wharf Cafe for some beer cheese soup for lunch. Hopefully it will be worth the aggravation.
