weekends / points verses cash, great deal at the yc & bc !

Im staying the bwv during the week of my stay, but just got a sat. at the yacht club studo standard view 2 queen beds and 1 day bed for $179.00 / with tax $199.00. to use your points it is 58 points, and i got the beach club for the following friday for the same type room for the same price and points for that studio was 32 and if i rented my poits at $10 a point, that is a great savings for paying cash. thank you to mousesavers.com for the info, it worked for me!

What are your dates? I'm looking for a cash room at BWI for Oct 1 to 6. Are you a Florida resident? I don't see any discounts after 8/23 listed on mousesavers except Florida Resident for 8/23 to 10/1.

It looks like 58 points is for a 2BR standard view. A studio, which is comparable to the YC room, is only 21 points.

to stay at the beach club villas studio on the weekends is 32 points.

i'm staying at both resorts for $179.00 plus tax each night.

these points are based on the first two weeks of aug. 2003.

i can rent 20 points for each night stay and pay cash for my weekend! it saves me alot of points.

no, im not a florida res.
i'll pm you if you would like to know how i got the great rate,
and on the mousesavers it was posted under resort discount,
before florida discount.

just passing the info on, just in case someone doesn't have enough points or would like to save some points if they are staying the whole week.

I'll take the extra bed instead of the frig, coffee maker and microwave.

There are no studios at the Yacht Club- only standard view rooms for the 58 points mentioned. There are no studios at the Beach Club either and there are no Beach Club rooms available for points (and there are none listed for 2003 at all).

A BCV Studio would be 32 points for weekends in August (8/1-8/15) and that room does include a queen bed, a sleep sofa and a mini kitchen (including fridge and microwave).
