Hello! Hubby and I are buying Annual Passes in September (upgrading unused Tickets) and Now of course I am thinking I can sneak in some weekend trips! We have a 10 Day trip planned in September 2015 and a 10 day trip in April 2016. I am thinking of doing 2 solo weekend trips possibly end of November-beginning of December (I love the x-mas decorations!) and another at some point in beginning of June ( before school is out) Am I crazy? I have never done a solo trip before, but I am very independent and think I would LOVE it. Hubby says he wouldn't want me going alone, but he really doesn't have a choice unless he decides he wants to come along ;) In my opinion WDW is the safest place I know to travel alone. I am a very cautious person and even I think it is very safe. So anyone else do quick Weekend trips? I've never stayed at WDW for less than 7 days so the quick trip would be a new thing for me.

I've done numerous weekend trips to WDW for various runDisney events. When I do these trips I depart California on Friday and return on Monday (sometimes Sunday). I have to admit that sometimes I feel rushed when I do these weekend trips but I do my best to have a good time.

I am local, but as a dvc member, have done numerous weekend trips, just to get away (hate to cut the grass). it's sometimes nice to go solo, you can do what you want (my friend dislikes most motion rides), people watch, come and go as you please. i also do day trips solo. have never had any problem.

I sneak in a weekend trip several times a month, there's nothing more fun than going to the parks. I don't think I'd do it alone though it wouldn't be as much fun for me.

I travel solo often. Part is because H doesn't have the "travel bug" like I do, and also because it's harder for him to get off work. I have traveled to California and Ireland (separate trips) solo. I have friends and places I want to see!

H and I have a great marriage, but we also enjoy our "alone time" if that makes sense. Disney is also easy solo....sometimes the rides need a "single rider" to fill up the car, which can save you time. It's also nice to do what you want, when you want.

Also, I am new around here, but I am somewhat local (and an annual pass holder!) maybe I can meet you at a park one day :-)

I say do it, but then again, I am in the "traveling as much as I can" boat.
