weekend crowds in June?

Hi,

My family (2 adults, 2 kids) is planning a WDW visit for early June 2006. We have the option of arriving on a Thursday or Friday afternoon and including the weekend in our stay. Or we can arrive on Sunday afternoon and pretty much avoid the weekend.

My question is: does it matter? That is, are crowds significantly heavier on weekends in June or it is pretty constant every day? We plan on visiting the 4 parks durring our stay. We have visited WDW before in November and are trying to get a flavor for the crowd status in early June.

Any thoughts and experiences are welcome.

Hi TIm, and welcome to the DIS!

IMO, weekends are generally more crowded (especially at the MK) than weekdays no matter what the time of year.

You also have a couple of weekend events going on the first weekend of June: Gay Days and Star Wars Weekends.

The month of June gets more crowded the deeper into the month you go because more and more schools are getting out for the summer.
